go coco gogo
Hi folks..
![]() Am I glad to have found this place.. Excellent source of info, some excellent grows and loving the coco thread… top job!! I just made the leap from soil to coco and its been a very enjoyable learning curve but my plants are leggy as hell - due to my using soil nutes: duh!! Reading lots on the coco thread and finding out more every day. Its great to have somewhere to learn and share our experiences. Anyway I have been and bought some Canna Coco A + B so its hopefully onwards and no more upwards from here. Also feeding Nitrozyme 2ml per ltr, Bud Boost 2ml per ltr. PK’ed the stretchy ones at 3rd week, will PK the other’s in the next few days. : Here’s a pic: they are a mix of Herer, Blueberries : Stretchy ones (jh or BB) are at 42 days: and are the result of overcompensating for the N def. So possibly the nutes are a little late.. I dunno coco is all new to me.. The smaller one is POG and are fortnight behind so hoping the coco specific feed will make a big difference. Feel free to offer advise.. But bear in mind I don’t have ph meter, temp or hum gauge -yar yar yar: don’t all shout at once!!.. I like to think of myself as a feely feely type grower - tend to look for signs from my plants rather than reading numbers on meters. And yeah the stretchy ones are screaming at me!! Am hoping the stretch will stop and the buds will begin to fill out - will keep you updated. Bests of buds to you.. Keep the green faith. misfit X

Hi nandro, old peculiar, ono, and holy gong, .. - thanks for the heads up.. .yo VT - awesome thread you got running, you trail blazer you!!
Quick amendment to my above post - sorry .. I am such a twit - cant even add up my 7x table.. 5wks x 7 = 35 days, not 42 !! - so the situation is possibly within rescuing range. Not much to update - added a cheap reflector (silver car windscreen reflector) and got the fan blowing on the light (gently rocks it and acts as cheap light mover). I have plants at different stages of growth - so I have the smaller ones stacked up on books -raises them off the floor and helps keep the heat in the root zone. Will update with pics soon. Should probably add that I am growing under 400 hps. thanks again for the interest.. misfit x |

welcome to the coco loco forum Miss Fit, nice to have a few female growers getting into the old coco too. i must say you seem to have done quite well considering you used a non specific nutrient, without meters, no less. so the coco a+b should be a treat, just use the same amount of each, keep it slightly below the recommended level to start with, your plants will soon let you know if the want more or less.
i posted your pics for you, if you need help posting pics let me know.... ![]() Pics by Miss Fit ![]() ![]()

yo Missfit
good to see you doing a thread on ICMag it would have been interesting to see how the grow turned out with soil nutes-possibly interesting in a bad way tho-so, as gaius has said, i'm sure you did the right thing in getting the coco nutes. look foward to seeing how the grow progresses eddie |
