Very reasonable price around $35. delivered for 15 beans,.....pak states a mix of strains w/ Sept. to Nov. ripening dates,..........I have yet to EVER harvest in Sept. so that would be fun,.............I will post results this grow season as i don't expect to pop these beans til April 1st inside and move outside here in NorCal/Sacto Valley around May 1st..........Should be fun to watch........!!
one love, cm.

Hi
as it says on the back of the breeders packet it is an outdoor mix.The strains used will be expected to be early but depending upon those inside the packet(considering it is only 15 or 17 seeds) maybe varying up to end of october ...in my experience. The best bet is to darken them on the onset of flower and you will be sure to harvest by sep end or early october...it takes 6 weeks worth of work but is well worth it .See how you go and all the best sb

I am lucky, here in NorCal, it doesn't rain from June to October 30th, keeps the buds dry,............and humidity is very low...!!!

i know this is an old thread.
but there were only TWO threads/topics dealing with "WALKABOUT" ive got a few packs on hand to maybe score some breeding materiale. has anyone run these out. if so, what did you find and please POST SOME PICS if youve got em....... with a breeders description of A selection of mixed outdoor varieties with all genetics of supreme sources including Thai, Haze, India, early Skunks, Mexicans, and New Guinea.Highly recommended for those in need of walkabout.A guaranteed recipe for outdoors or greenhouse cultivators, with its range of early finishes and a few late flowers ........... theres BOUND to be something worth messing with in there. especially since they put 17 seeds in each pack, (thanks shanti and gang) so, lets see em people. lets see the results of the WALKABOUT.

Good timing on bringing this one back up...I sprouted about 10 of my walkabout seeds last year and ended up with two females, one of which I kept clones of and am running again inside. Gotta be some kinda haze variety, the outdoor plant went late, like mid November I think. I'm looking forward to these indoor clones though, as they look a little better. Heres a couple pics I just took, day 64 today. Sorry about the orientation of the one. Any idea what exactly this might be??

nice job, fisher15.
they look very lovely. i believe you are one of a very few that actually have posted pics of what was uncovered in their 'walkabout' packs. thanks for doing so. got a smoke report from your outdoor results? id love to hear about them. as far as exactly what that indoor cut is....ive no clue. maybe shanti will give it a looksee and have something to offer, for, i was reaching for info myself. but, obviously, it leans nicely to the sativa side of things from the looks of it. cant go wrong there, imo. thanks again for taking the time to slap a few pics up. i app it.

hubcap: I hear ya on there not being much walkabout info out there, I'm happy to add...The outdoor plant was nice, but left a little to be desired. It was negelected a bit tho and flowered through the rain and cold/clouds. Buds smell nice, a little sweet along with that hazy metal? scent. Taste is smooth, a bit light, but overall pleasant. Tastes like it smells. Strong clear sativa high that lasts...I find myself forgetting everything I need, like the jack herer.
Hazeseeker: You should pop them, for sure. I've got about 8 more I should do something with. Oh yeah, these were grown all organic in roots brand/fox farm soil and fed with teas of different goodies. I'll check back closer to chop. Last edited by fisher15; 01-21-2008 at 05:38 AM.. |
