C99 f2s and Blockhead

This will be my first ever grow diary.

I have had roughly 6 grows previously but I've never had a digital camera at the time. I got a Fujifilm Finepix A500 for crimbo and I've decided to put it to good use

I'm still learning how to use this thing so please forgive my blurry pics, I do my best you know

First off here's a quick rundown of my setup:

400w hps
6" inline fan for extraction (passive vents for induction)
Roughly 1.8 x 3.8 ft wardrobe (around 7 sq ft)
All organic soil with plain water feedings

In my grow room I have 7 C99 f2s and 1 Blockhead all grown from seed.

They are all on day 33 of veg right now but I'll be flipping the switch either tomorrow or in a couple of days as I need to take some clones before they do their thing.

Here's a pic of the outside

Lift the trippy backdrop and Bobs your mothers brother

I have a hook on the ceiling that the backdrop hooks onto...if you're wondering why it looks like that

A group shot of the C99s

Group shot of 3 C99s and the Blockhead at the bottom

This is the Blockhead...this girl is really short n fat! (I don't tell her that though)

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I'll be updating this thread every few days with their progress.

Thanks for stopping in

Thanks Jack!

twiztid, thanks man but I forgot to mention the C99s are all feminised so I would certainly hope they are all females

The more scraggy looking ones look as they do due to a problem I had earlier on when transplanting...I used cutting and seedling soil instead of regular soil and those 2 (the ones in the far corners) suffered most from serious deficiencies whilst the others held on pretty well, and the Blockhead seems to be indestructable!

After repotting them into their lovely organic rich soil a week ago they have bounced back rather well.

I switched the light back to 12/12 today so sit back and watch as the show comes into full swing

Nice looking grow Gangabiss.
Great strain selection.
What are your temps? Reason I ask is because it looks like some of your c99s are suffering from heat stress. They all look healthy otherwise.
Ill be pulling up a seat.

Cheers WitchKing, this perticular Blockhead is actually from one of those freebie 5 packs. Can't wait to see the frosty goodness she bestows upon me

Thanks Indophiliac, I'm really excited to see what the hype on these 2 strains is all about...seems nobody has a bad word to say about either of them.

Ah you noticed the leaf curling That is actually from when I messed up earlier on and repotted them all into crappy soil which resulted in some serious magnesium and iron deficiencies in the C99s (Blockhead was hardly affected apart from some slight interveinal browning on the lower leaves).

Also I had a few little tiny pots in the room and this made the humidity drop to about 20% which I'm sure must have added to the leaf curling...I sorted that by filling a big tuperware container with water and laying 2 towels over the sides and into the water. That bumped it back up to around 50%

Now they are all in their final pots humidity is not really a problem. It tends to stay at around 40% which I'm happy with.

Well I decided to crank this up a bit and see how my 600w hps would cope in that tiny space...it only raised temps by around 6-7 degrees! (70-75 with 400w, 77-83 with 600w) So now I have roughly 85 w/sqf as opposed to 57 w/sqf before.

This should be interesting

I'll snap some more pics today when the lights come on.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone!

Go GB, go!

I had a similar situation when I upgraded from 400 -> 600.

Consider yourself lucky.

Hey Gangabiss, looking nice!

Did you only pop the one blockhead? And what was your soil issue? Did you re-use or you just bought some to hot? Just wondering.

peace, Willie!
