it's hard to judge a breeding male by pics, and prior to testing him or flowering him fully..

The male does look a bit lanky for DC flowers, but that could be from the position in the gro..

I would try to use alot of DJ's criteria for choosing males (smell, stem size/hollowness, vigor/health, branchy struture, semetry, clonability, flower density/size, resin production, resistance to pests/enviromental changes).. No one will have a better idea than u, as u can touch and smell the plant, and have watched him thru veg and flower...

compare the plant to the 'standard' for the breed, be sure it's free of any pistils (intersex), has the normal DC smell, etc..

sorry i can't tell u flat out if it's a good one or not, but u should have a better idea..

Ill try and dig out some pics of DC males Ive photo'd. post'em tomorrow,
follow bc's advice imo.

Thanks you guys for the replies/advice! It is a clone. It might be lanky cause of light depperation..I have two other males that are less lanky, but they don't grow as well for me... That would be great if i could see some other DC male pics to compare to. thanks again for your thoughts! peace

yeah man, reason I asked if it was a clone, is cause DC clones Ive had as fathers in bloom, will act a lil more stretchy, ime. Light could have something to do with it if you have questions about that yerself.
try and keep any possible parents in a unifor condition/enviroment, you will be able to see their differences alot easier this way, helping you to better choose for yer goals.

I havent been able to find the pic Im specifically thinking of, I know I got it, just gotta dig a lil more. Ill post it up just as soon as I find it man, srry for the delay!

just like OgBub said, the ultimate proof is to grow out the progeny.
but this could be a problem if you have many males ...crossing all & growing all ...hehe that's not a short time project.
so if you have more males, go on with the beancounter advice and check out some Dj' articles about selecting males.

After seeing your male Bub, i am happy with the male i picked...But as ya'll said "the proof is in the prodegy"...So I guess time will only tell..
