Well, germination rates were fantastic, but it appears that this test grow is at an end for me.
No seeds have sprouted. (germinated edited out) I believe this is due to an undetected water problem on my end, and should in no way reflect on the breeder. As I pointed out, these beans had the greatest germ rates out of any I have tried. That says a lot right there. Once again, it looks as if this test grow is over. I'm going to leave the seed pods in my veg room for another week, but I have no illusions that they will sprout. Once again, let me reiterate that I believe this is a problem on my end, not a problem with the genes or the Breeder. My apologies to the Breeder and to Dutchgrown for fouling up this test grow.

Sorry for the confusion folks.
The beans germinated in a cup of water beautifully, 9 out of 10 of 'em. They went into peat pods to sprout, and none have sprouted. The only I have found that might explain it is that I discovered (in trying to find out what could've happened) was that my waters PH down in the growroom was high. I wouldn't think that would cause them not to sprout, but it's the only thing I can think of. I've had issues with bad sprouting from the Mississippi Mud JLP sent just before these were germed. The water is the only thing I can think that connects them. Once again, frano.gh, I apologize for this. I was really looking forward to testing these out, and like I said, the germ rates were fantastic. I really wanted to see these through to bud, I've heard so much about the White Rhino ![]() Again, this is a problem on my end, not one with the genes.

Sorry to hear that NT. I've heard a lot of good about these too. The first time I saw it in HT back in 97 I was hooked.
Haven't gotten mine started yet. Things are finishing up right now with the other stuff. Another 7-10 days though and we should be good to go. Work has been stupid busy also not leaving much time for anything. Good luck with everything else. Spaced... |
