I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT YOUR G13 USED IN THE G13XWIDOW.....

The G13 that was dying off was crossed with several strains,,, one being the skunk....
when it was crossed ,,,, was it backcrossed to "cube" the strain or did the G13 DIE OFF IMMEDIATELY >>>>????
i was thinking about the g13 used in the cross above ( which i just purchased ).... was it a predominately g13 bacrossed to itself or was it a 50% g13 ?>??

also ,,,, you state in your desriptions that the g13 had waxy looking leaves,,,,i have the old northern lights that have extraordinary waxy ,wide leaves,,, almost plastic looking,,,, are they related or the same somehow???
i figured you'd be the one to know!!! you have a vast knowledge and resources including the one and only Mr. Neville !

if the skunk was used for a donor male "then" backcrossed to the g13 to make the plant return to the original g13 pheno/clone???

or

another way to ask is....
is the g13/skunk more skunk??? more g13??? or a 50/50???

Hi all

the G13 was crossed to the male skunk as the g13 was in clone female form with Nev for a long time. When I carried on the work from Nev it was already a 50:50 G13 female :skunk male.

So are the G13XSkunk F1 or are you saying that carried on the work by taking it out another generation or more? If so which way did you go, towards the skunk or ther G13?

From my experiance with these lines, If your looking for a plant that is likely to be G13 Dom, then go for the G13Sk. Although there tends to be a greater pheno variation, alot of them well lean very heavily indeed on the G13side. Where as the Widow males used i find tends to be ver dominating over almost everything he meets with.

Everything with the wid male i have found tends to produce very wid heavey offspring, Mango Wids, G13xWid.

But also remember youll get a good expression of the Sk line used when looking for moms from a G13xSk seed pack. And this SK line is certainly one not to be missed. Its very special indeed, and can produce some flavours and aromas that you have never smelt in Pot before.

Now that would be good, Hmmm wonder if we can bend shantis arm as it were and get him to hit his original NLs/ HPs and Afghans to the G13SK. I really want a afghan G13 or NLg13. Argh he already has some many quality strains, and i havent a whole town to growin, mearly a village.
