Dreaming Blubonic dreams

Howdy all

I have completed my AK grow, and I can say that I am pleased with the output I received. About 2 oz from two plants, in which I made alot of mistakes. So my "supply" had extra blubonic clones, that they did not want, so it will be blubonic this time.

I got 13 clones in jiffy pellets, all at varying stages of rooting, mostly none visible yet.

This be a picture of all the blubonic clones that were there. They were just starting to root at this time. as one did not live through the night, when i checked the roots before I gave it a proper burial. It had two small roots off the stem.

Once the roots started showing through the canvas on the side and through the bottom, I transplanted them into 4 " pots, with about 25 % perlite. The pellets were pretty damp when I put them in, so I did not water them for about 2 days after transplant, to force the roots to hunt for food.

This one is the shot of them right after transplant, The yellowing of the leaves is stress the plant took during the whole process, no new discolorations whatsoever. If my camera was better you could see the preflowers still there. The temps are just about 20 to 23 c during the day, and probably about 18 to 20 overnight, I don't really know as I am sleeping, and it has never been an issue before. Humidity is only a problem for me, come summer time. But it is normally about 40 %. I am going to put a fan in there soon to get the stems thickened up.

Here is today

One week in the pots, one dose of half strength nutes. 18/6 lights. 95 w cfl.

I will be back in a few days with some more updates.

3 Weeks from clone

Hey folks

Been having some cam issues, so not only does it suck, it would not power on for a few days. But I was off sick from work today so I decided I would get the damn thing working and get an update on here.

I have done some cosmetic work on the plants by topping some and FIMing 1. Because I am in no hurry to flower these girls I am trying to produce a clone making "machine", so the best plant makes a mother, and the rest get to flower for me when i am ready.
This is my first time with clones at such an early age, the first leaves having that yellowing is always disturbing, but I am very happy with the growth so far, I can see noticeable growth everyday.

Here be my hidden jungle. 12 beauties all basking under the mild warmth of the CFL.

I have yet to see any issues on the new leaves, they are actually concerning me how wide these plants are getting.

These plants have two colas now

I will need to transplant them into bigger pots this week, as the roots are starting to grow out the bottom drain holes. I put a fan in the box to get the air moving a bit quicker, and to thicken the stems. I do need to start construction on their hole soon as they will get big fast, and i don't want to be messing with space problems while I am in veg mode.

Be back soon with some updates

4 weeks from clone

Ok, they have some new homes. It is ridiculously hard to find nursery pots at this time of year here. If I can find a garden centre open , they are all out of stuff like that. I went looking for a few 2 gallon sq pots, but this is the slimmest I could find. I spent an afternoon driving around place to place.

But no ill effects appear to be brought on by the long period of time my babies spent in the 4 inch pots. I had to toss out 3 plants as I have no room for them. So I now have 9 plants in deep veg cycle.

The two on the right are tagged "test". There are being grown using recycled soil, I had left over from a previous grow, and the soil I had from the three plants I tossed. I added some peat and perlite to the mix and warmed it to room temperature. I will be keeping a very close eye on these, to make sure nothing goes wrong with them and ruin the rest of the crop.

There are starting to get really bushy. I am about a week from flipping the lights over. I will be flowering under a 400 mh but I was going to keep at least one as a mother. I need to find a place for the mother to live while all this is goin on. If the weather would warm a bit outside, I could use my sun room for the flowering but the overnight temps are still much too cold, and I don't really want to be running a space heater in there 24/7.

This is going to be a mother plant, I am just not sure If i will flower 8 yet or not, would be nice, as I am expecting an ounce a plant dried weight when done.( That is what the guy who cloned these got, from 2 plants two ounces)

I will figure my shit out and get back with a update as soon as I can.

A few days later

I was in checking on my plants and I could not believe how much they had grown I figured it must have been a while since I took some pics, but it is only like 4 days. I really wish the outdoor temps would get above freezing overnight soon, but I can only hope about that one. Me and Jebus don't speak anymore.

Heres the gang, my two with the recycled soil are in back, they are doing well, new growth, looks healthy, and does that soil ever retain moisture. I only need to water once a week for those. I am having some issues with keeping the temps up in the box, I am not sure if my trusty analogue thermo is accurate, when i had it on the other side it was showing 25 c when the box is in "stealth mode".

The plant dead center is in the next pic, it is the prospective mother, I am quickly falling for this plant, it is quite beautiful.

I should be switching the lights over in a week or so, I might top a few more once more. Be back soon
