Hashberry germination time
I received my 10 pack on monday and sowed 5 seeds into individual cups with potting soil and have yet to have a sprout crack the soil. Its been 6 days.. Whats the usual germination period for hashberry? Normally i would soak the seeds in distilled water, then use the paper towel method but followed the mandala germination suggestions. The soil is good as I have used it for germinating 3 different varieties and never had a problem. Is there still hope?

Mine came up in 3 days, straight into the medium (J1#1 with a little 9perlite), 84 degrees, prop domes. Got 9 of 10, one runt, one trifoliate.
Has to be said, Mike like going straight to the medium and so do I but often in growing the expression go with what you know is often a wise tip, at least with the bulk of your crop. Good luck with the rest.

Got 14/15 Hashberry to germinate in 3 day, strait in the soil. Dont water to much, root need to 'hunt' the water down.

I moved them into my flower room for now... Maybe a little more warmth would help.

Well, I germinated my other 5 hashberrys in a paper towel and so far have 4 of 5 popping from soil. Waiting for the last one as it was just put in soil yesterday. For whatever reason I followed the mandala instructions and they did not work for me.. Out of desparation I tried the paper towel method with the last 5. Lets hope i get lots of females.

Number ten required surgery and would not have emerged if planted directly in soil.
They are fast growing from the first true leaves. |
