Hey BUDdy -
I havnt had a chance to grow them yet but I have hashberry sadhu and satori.

From being a mandala "junkie" for the last 3 months I have read lots of reports and looked at hundreds of images... it really depends what you're looking for when you say "best" - They are all very good and have their own qualities...

But in my oppinion these are the best:
Hashberry - deep indica, if you want indica choose this - high yielder too
Sadhu - indica with some sativa, heard this has very rare aromas
Satori - sativa that doesn't grow as tall as normal sativas i was told, also a huge yielder
Kalichakra - heard this is some real good smoke... actually heard it's the best mandala strain -but it's sativa so if u want that go here

This isn't based on any experience, just basic research... and it seems that these 4 strains have the most positive feedback and most "fan base"

Speed Queen and White Satin seem to be gaining some points on the scoreboard lately...

And I really can't wait to see some reports on Mandala #1, That purple pheno is so beatiful, wow!

about sadhu and hashberry , I read that hash is the hybrid and the sadhu is the most indi dom, maybe I am wrong,
I have grew kalichakra and now I am sarting some satoris,
kalichakra is very good sativa, high is very energetic, soaring and has very little paranoia(what I fear the most with a sat dom), my experience with mandala seeds are that their a vigorous, well selected( only good formed solid striped seeds) and usually is so fresh that has 100% germ rate and the plants has a excelent heat resistence, much better then anything in the same price range, is for sure the best bang for your buck.

I found a sativa leaning phenotype of sadhu that was exceptionally more potent than it's sisters. In a jar of mixed sadhu buds, all appear the same, but I could identify this pheno after smoking because of it's potency. The aroma from sadhu, like some have mentioned, is amazing. My palate is not educated enough to accurately describe these aromas, but before a ran out of my last harvest I would grind up some sadhu in my herb grinder and hold the two halfs up to my nose, one to each nostril, and I would inhale deeply several times, savoring the exotic spiciness of the scent. The high is connoisseur quality as well. It's not a heavy stone but what I would describe as a 'strong euphoric dreaminess'. The uniqueness of the high and aroma from sadhu make it one of my all times favorites. I haven't tried any other Mandala strains yet, but I should have some satori finished in a couple weeks.

I am currently growing Sadhu and Satori.... my sadhu is about 7-10 days away from being chopped down and my Satori about 10-14 days away from being chopped.... Take a look at my thread it is the one named Sadhu and Satori at 1 month.... I took some pictures about a week or so ago and plan on taking more when right before I chop the Sadhu.... But just from growing these two strains I am very impressed (plan on getting hashberry and others for next time) and so far I can confirm that the Satori is a big yielder as my Satori is huge!!!!

Right on Zaxxon!

I'm happy that my bias for sadhu is spreading. I hope to see more people give it a go instead of hashberry. Hashberry is the better yielder from what I've read, but sadhu is just so much more interesting to me.

Hopefully you'll let us know how that Mandala #1 turns out.

peace

That's exactly what I always say...lol
Sadhu is our best indica in my opinion and stands a bit in the shadow of her hashy-berry sister. But anyone who has tried Sadhu knows what we mean when we describe the aroma and POTential she has.
For a mixed garden both Hashberry and Sadhu make a perfect pair as well. So whoever is looking for the early and short indicas should earmark both.

Another winner is Satori btw. Anyway, it's always a matter of personal preference what strain someone likes best. Some people go for taste, or are just looking at potency, or a particular effect, etc.

Creeptic: by looks of these gigantic first leaves you have a happy set of Sadhus in your garden.

Grow on,
Mike
