post pics of your white satin grows here!!
unfortunatly if you remember my previous post, none of those beautiful ladies made it. due to some uncontrollable circumstances. i do however have a new grow planned and have been messing with sketchup to design the ultimate maid. anyhow
LETS SEE YOUR WHITE SATIN GROWS!! i know your out there. i never hear much about this strain, but its the reason i fell in love with mandala's product. post away. this is off the mandala site just to get things poppin.

hi natoffski,
you're quite right, there's not much talking about the satin compared to other mandala strains(could it be because they're the "stealth" strain?). nevertheless a very fine plant. As this was my first indoor grow,I don't have means to compare it to any another specific strain but I must say I'm very pleased. The plant forgave my beginner mistakesand had an overall easy grow. Out of 10 seeds,Ibroke one seedling when switching pots, and one was a guy which let me with 8 healthy ladies. one was a dwarf but produced the sweetest buds. five were standard balanced pheno one was leaning more to the indica side.heavy producer but the smoke is harsher tasting and less potent two were more sativa-ish:pretty taller and thinner.heavy producers also.those are not "stealthy"(as opposed to the odorless others):they smell a nice sugary/citrus aroma.and the high of those:OMG that's what I've been looking for. And now the pictures: goup shot in the grow tent: the standard pheno: the indica pheno: the sativa pheno: harvest time: ain't that a nug? : close up : closer : Have a nice day everyone and thanx again mike! |

I prefer the indica pheno since the thickness of the smoke and density of the buds per square inch of tops

@THC(lol), you'll have to post some more pics of the cured nugz please, I want to see what they look like after a few weeks cure, the smoke looks great, this is the first time I've heard of this strain, someone said something about it being a low smell strain is this correct?

I'm in total heaven!
What a great grow report! I think this is what quite a few people have been looking for. There have been several grow diaries on White Satin but in different languages...other forums. I'm posting some new pics soon in the sticky as well. THC can I include a few of your pics in our online gallery. And how about you taking part in our photo competition? ;-) This is a very fine result for a first time grow. I can imagine nobody would have guessed from seeing this result. A nice cure enhances the smoke and flavour and can take up to two months or longer. We put detailed info in our FAQ on curing. Make sure the buds are not packed in an air-tight container as this brings curing to a dead stop. It pays to let them mature! Natofski: looking forward to your rerun! Good luck with the planing. Mike

hi everyone !
thanx A.N.Other,you're such a mandala junkie!Just grow them all,I guess all strains have a little something of their own hey dank, here are the picture, but they just have one week cure: hi mike! you're making me blush! I'd be honoured if you use some of my pictures.but then tell me,I'll send you hi-res versions. And about the great result for a first-timer,you know you and the good seeds you sell have more than a little responsability about it!thanks again by the way I thought curing was all about air-tight containers, but opening those one hour a day oh dank, about the low-odour.well it's true they don't smell much except for the more sativaish which have a nice citrus/turpentine smell. But indoor you still have to get a charcoal filter.I guess this is more usefull for the outdoor growers as you have to get much closer than other strains to notice them. |
