Nepal Hashplant IBL testing/breeding thread..

This is the start of me taking a look at the NHP IBLs.. I jus started 5 for now, and can't wait to see what they have in store..

Unlike the PAKI and HTindica, any inbreeding i do with the NHP will be just for preservation's sake and personal use.. Bub will be handling the retail release of this line.. But I still wanna get to know her and make sure she stays around forever..

Here's the 5 lil seedlings:

sorry for the lack of updates.. truth is they weren't look that great after a couple weeks in those egg cups, and i wanted to get em a lil more lush again before pics..

since the last update they're all sexed, and quite fast..

I ended up transplanting the 'extra' plant in the single egg cup into a 3" pot almost right after the pics, so it had a big headstart.. and u can see how much the cups stunted the seedlings compare to the 3" by how much bigger she is..

There see to be 2 phenos.. the sativa dom, more common, and a slightly indica dom, that still has lotsa sat and the same branching as the sat doms.. But pretty stable besides that.. and these plants were all grown in slightly dif enviroments thru the grow, which affects pheno a bit..

The big one was the 1st to show sex and was a gal.. Then the others were all sexed about a week or so ago, then topped.. but i left the shorter indica dom untopped to see how she does.. also to let her catch up to her sisters..

I only got one male, that was topped a bit more, and put off to the side and on lower strength nutes.. as u can see he's a lil hungry..

They all have a very strong and nice smell already, and a great open structure.. beautiful line, i love it so far.. i can't wait to get some into flower.. I'll be flowerin' the biggest one soon..

hey bro, nah, i got 5 packs except since Bub wanted to restore the NHP line with his own hands so I only started 5 jus to get an idea for her.. If she's something i really love i'll pop the rest of the beans I have (i gave 2.5 packs to Bub), so 20, and do my own selections and some open pollination for personal use/friends..

From this 5 plants i got 4 fems, so some decent #s to look thru.. On IBLs I usualy do 5-6 when I want to have a peek into the line.. on F1s I like to do about 8 or so, polys i try to do 10... the more inbred the seeds are the less i find i need to get a decent idea of it, obviously this isn't always the case..

Anyways, i put the large fem NHP into flower with the Sour Chunk yesterday, so we'll be seeing some buds in a bit.. the other 3 fems are still in 3", like the Chunky Cheese fems i started at the same time.. they're past due on transplants, and i hope to do em today..

The NHPs seem to take really well to topping, and have extreme vigor for an IBL.. I like the open structure.. it's nice to see after working with alot of heavy and pure indicas..

This and the HT Skunk IBL are definately the most vigorous IBLs I've grown so far..

I have a feeling the stretch is gonna be pretty heavy.. I'll get some pics of the flowering girl in a couple weeks..

If it's anywhere near as good as CBF's experience it certainly will be a keeper.. And a great candidate for breeding with some of the pure indis like PAKI and DC..

all is good, these girls are growing like wildfire, and i'm suprised they lasted as long as they did in the 3".. I can't wait to see someone grow these outside or in big pots, they should really fly..

Anyways, they're all transplanted.. not much news cept they're stinky, not skunky, jus kinda got that dankness.. i hope it's a sign of things to come..

Here's the 3 (of 4) fems right before transplant:

And the tighter node pheno:
