hey guys, yeah, i can't wait for this one.. If u can believe it, I kept those seedlings in those egg cartons until Friday, when I finaly got around to transplanting them in 3" squares.. they are all at about 4-5 nodes or so.. they're obviously a bit stunted, but it's no big, they'll sex no prob in the 3" and i'll go from there..

You can quite obviously see the cheese in the cross, as the stems and leaf veins got the red tinge like cheese, and some other similarities.. obviously still fairly DC dominant, but not too bad..

I'm gonna let em all veg into their 3" pots for about a week or so and then I'll snap some pics.. All 8 are still healthy, green, and doin' fine tho..

Thanks for stopping by, I can't wait till all these test threads start filling up with flower pics..

I am eagerly awaiting flower pics as well! I too have been slowly downsizing container size (although I always bump up when time for flower). Not only is it effiecient it allows me to have a large variety of plants going. keep it jammin bc!

well, the chunky cheeses are looking great, they are supringly cheese influenced, and easily the thinnest leaves of all the crosses I've grown so far.. they are very uniform, but should show a little more variation as we go..

I'll take some pics of the seedlings in the next couple days to illustrate what i mean..

well, i checked the 3 Chunky Cheese seedlings I had under the T5 section and to my suprise they have all shown sex, and are all female.. the other 5 CCs are under the shoplight, and are a lil further behind.. i checked one and it was just starting to show sex, so i didn't bother checking the other ones just yet.. The T5s section is slightly warmer, and the plants grow a bit faster than the T12s..

Since I had the 3 fems out for watering/sexing, i decided to take a few snaps of them.. I apologize as they're a lil outa whack, as they were kinda crammed in there a bit.. i gave a bit more room and they should straighten out by tommorow..

As you can see, this is definately the least Deep Chunk looking of the crosses that I have personally tested.. This could be because of the intense inbreeding that was done on the Skunk line that Cheese was found in, technically making it a 'true' F1 cross. the plants are definately more stable than some of the other crosses so far, but we'll see what happens in flower.. good node spacing, and the branching that u can't see in the pics looks promising..

I look forward to flowering these girls, i think i may top them now..

Certainly looks like a contender for dominance '69, and i'm very happy to see it..

hi liquidK, if i could afford them, i'f be all T5 for veg.. they absolutely rock in terms of ease/spred/temps and the plants love the spectrum.. that or a good MH for veg is ideal IMHO.. but if u don't got the cash, the shoplights will get u thru jus fine  all my starts are under the t12 shoplights, and it works fine.. pretty much every seed is grown under them, like the 5 cheese below.. as u can see they are a bit more compact than the T5 plants..

thanks pipeline

Here's the other 5 (of 8) Chunky Cheese seedlings.. They're not all sexed yet, but the back 2 are females, the topped one in the middle is a male (i topped him before i thought of takin' pics) that's now gone into flower for a bit.. the one on the front/right is most likely male, the one on the front/left is unsexed.

As u can see, 2 phenos seem to be devloping, with the DC dominant plants being less common.. It's like watching a struggle between 2 excellent inbred lines for domminance, very cool.

altho there are some DC phenos, they're still not that bad, and would be much stretchier without 24/0 and floros i'm sure..

I will be keeping the cheese dom males from this line, because if it has potential i will begin to work it further..

Anyways, still in there 3" pots.. jus waiting for the last to sex before transplants.. but I'm very happy with 5 fems of 8..
