Kush Rundown

alright, so today has been full of reading about everyone enjoying their kush plants.... but its all led me to be quite confused as it seems everyone has their own little kush stashed away somewhere.

What makes the different Kush's? The Seedbanks have Master Kush, and a couple have Bubba Kush s1's.

and theres also Ogre / OG kush

Now are all of these just random pheno's/breeds originally from the Hindu Kush plant offered by Sensi?

and what about all the flavored kush's....

2 years ago there was some Orange Kush sold in Texas, and it was awesome herb.... wish it would come around again

oh and then the famed purple kush as well!

so can someone shed some light on the Kush situation for me?

Thanks,
wickyd

My man! Just the the questions I wanted to ask a few days ago... Dude, that very Kush you're speaking of is still floating around DFW, but is now called "Orange Krush". Dunno if that's just a simple name-change due to its popularity or what, but it's still some killer grass. Haven't gotten any in a few weeks.

I'm interested, too.

KRS Juan will become famous soon enough
The answer is.... Yes

Any herb from the Hindu Kush Valley in Afghanistan, the westernmost extension of the Himalayas, is called a kush. Many crosses involving landrace hindu kush strain are called Kush's as well. Master Kush is 2 different f1 hindu kush strains crossed together.

Over the past 3 years it has also become a "name brand" just like chronic, and skunk before that. Pot dealers know that people will pay more for kush so they call everything kush. Here in LA, kush's dominate the high-end market and usually go for twice as much as normal commercial herb.

-KRS Juan-

P.S. Hindu Kush translates to Kill Indians.

How did I know you would have an answer KRS.
Yup the Kush is tops in LA. Everything commercially is Kush just about. But the good stuff fetches top dollar.

I lost my Orange Kush mother earlier this year but I loved that smoke.

I have a Hindu kush x Master Kush that I was thinking about hittin it with some orange bud. I have a pure grapefruit that I may also hit the kush to

The NL x Kush that I have now is a very nice kush cross, super vigorous, easy to grow, good yield

TK - you had an orange kush? you bastard :-) it was a lovely lovely smoke, made the room smell like tangerines. I read the post where you had to clear out everything though, that does suck.

Thanks for the info guys... maybe I'll pick up a good kush and try it out...

If you wan't to get your feet wet growing some Kush you might consider Nirvana-Masterkush.This is a cross of Hindu Kush and SK#1.I think Mau won a cup with it,but it does have a potent Indica stone and a very unique flavor.
This cross was also done by The Flying Dutchman seedbank and is called"Pot of Gold".They also made the "Golden Skush" seeds that Gypsy has but they used different mothers.

Here's some pics of Nirvana MK.
