Canna Coco Feeding Schedule

I've been using Canna Coco nutes for the last four years and have had great results. I grow in containers filled with a mix of 70/30 coco/perlite and water by hand using a pump sprayer. I feed with nutes for 3 days and on the 4th day I use plain water using the following schedules....

Coco A and B without the use of any additives. When I grow without additves, I use the following ratio's...

Seedlings - Mix 10ml of both A and B to 1 gallon of water. I water once a day for 2 weeks.

Veg Stage - Mix 15ml of both A and B to 1 gallon of water. I water once a day while in veg.

Flower Stage - Mix 10ml of both A and B to 1 gallon of water. I water once a day while in flower. Flush with plain water two weeks prior to havest.

Coco A and B with the use of additives. When I grow with additves, Canna's Rhizotonic, Cannazym and PK13/14, I use this schedule...

Seedlings - Mix 10ml of both A and B and 5ml of Rhizo to 1 gallon of water. I water once a day for 2 weeks. I only use Rhizo in the first 2 weeks to boost root development.

Veg Stage - Mix 15ml of both A and B to 1 gallon of water. I water once a day while in veg.

Flower Stage - Mix 10ml of both A and B and 5ml of Cannazym to 1 gallon of water. I water once a day for the first 5 weeks in flower. At week 6, I stop adding Cannazym. I add 10ml of PK 13/14 instead for 1 week to help fatten the buds prior to harvest. I flush with plain water two weeks prior to havest.

GS

Buds fed with Coco A + B, no additives.

Hi Gren,
If you have good genetics, there isn't much of a difference in yield/quantity, but I do notice a difference when using PK 13/14. The Buds overall will be about 15 - 20% larger when using the PK. I reuse my coco for multiple grows and the Cannazym helps to break down excessive organic buildups in the coco. If your growing plants for the first time or from seeds, I do think the additives will help growers with little expierience grow healthier plants. The more expierenced the grower, the fewer additives needed to produce great plants. Hope this info helps.

Thanks for that info.

So, you reckon you could get good results with just A+B and 13/14?

You're using 13/14 in the last week of feeding prior to flushing? That is, 3 weeks out from harvest?

Hi Bong,
Coco A + B will give you healthy plants with decent yields according to the strain you grow. Use the PK 13-14 when most of the buds have formed but have noy begun to fatten. Add it as a supplement to your nutes for a week around the 4th or 5th week of flower. Stop adding the PK after a week and feed 1 more week with the A+B. Start your flush till harvest time.

I am curious also.

I recently made the switch to Canna also... Still dialing in the dosage myself??

Sounds right to me.

I use 3mL per Litre, which converts to 11.3637mL per Gallon.

I'm running full strength for flowering, that is...

Canna A+8 @ 3mL/L
Canna Rhizotonic @ 0.5mL/L
Canna Cannazyme @ 2.5mL/L (I run this 2 weeks on, 1 week off)

And I'm at Day 21 into 12/12, and will add my PK13/14 when I hit Day 42.

3mL/litre is recommended dosage on my bottle for A+B.

Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick! 15 ml per gal of Canna's A+B would sizzle anything I've ever grown. The Bubba I run is my heaviest feeder, and she can just tolerate 12 ml/gal. Anymore and she starts to burn. Hey, if your plants can thrive at that high of an EC, than rock on.

So at 15 ml/gal each of A and B you get approx

N - 234
P - 76
K - 112
Mg - 91
S - 31
Ca - 238

estimated TDS@.7 1533
estimated TDS@.5 1095
estimated EC/uS 2190

and the 10 ml/gal A + B, plus 10 ml/gal PK 13/14 for that one week in flower gives you:

N - 156
P - 230
K - 443
Mg - 61
S - 20
Ca - 159

again with an estimated EC over 2000 (approx 2146)

Sorry, I don't mean to sound salty, but .....

Thanks for posting your schedule Green. It's always interesting to read when someone is getting good results with recipe's/schedules that are outside of the "suggested" feeding ratio's.
