Poison Chunk (Venomberry x DeepChunk) test grow..
Here's another DC hybrid, and I've got 4 seedlings of it going now.. I'll add updates as they come, and anyone else growing this cross can feel free to use this thread to document thier progress aswell..
I got 2 of the seedlings in the same pot, and they're a lil underfed/pale as u can see.. Here's all 4 PCs: |

i just wanted to note the one in the back left is a confirmed female, and will be transplanted into a 6" and flowered asap.. the other 3 still haven't shown enough, but i think 1 is male..
I'll snap some more pics once all are sexed.. |

well, one of the plant in the pot was a male, so i topped him down, i will let him veg up a lil more jus to make sure he's definately male.. Also, one of the other plants in the 2.5 squares was verified male, and he got put into 12-12 for sex/stress testing..
So as of today, i have one verified fem, 2 males, and one plant that's still unsexed, that is likely female.. I will take pics of them before i put them into flower.. So far i have put all of the males from the DC crosses into 12-12 and stressed them in numerous ways for about 3 wks, or until they are about to drop pollen.. I'm doing this to make sure that there's no hermie tendencies in any of the lines, for fems and males.. I encourage peeps to make F2s of all of these lines, even those testing beans for me.. that's why i wanna be sure there's no herm tendencies in the males.. I would love to see people F2 these hybrids in order to look for plants in the F2 population that closely resemble the mother 'elite'.. But PLEASE don't pass on the clones as anything but what they are.. we don't need anymore confusion.. With the obvious and extreme dominance of the DC, it should be MUCH easier for the average grower to pick out plants ressembling the mother.. This is a winning combo for those without access to elite clones, and want to find something close without having to become to obsessed with picking out minor differences between plants in order to pick winning phenos.. it should be obvious which phenos are which.. and have fun  and enjoy

I dont think many people take the time to sort threw F2's. And end up missing some of the best plant's!

I only ended up with 1 female from these 4 seedlings, but again, these were seeds that split on the plant (altho they didn't germ like the C99xDC), so not very conclusive for normal fem/male rates..
The lone female was put into flower on the 7th, and was topped in late veg.. I expect these to take about 60-65 days, but we'll soon see. |
