Sour Chunk (ECSDxDeepChunk) test grow..
I figured I'd start a thread to document my progress with the Sour Chunks aswell..
This is ECSD/Sour D x Deep Chunk, check out my ECSD threads for pics.. I started 7 of these, and all germed dispite taking their sweet time to germ, they all showed themselves.. I think that seeds from the female Sour D plant have some germing issues due to their thick husks. These were fresh seeds, as fresh as could be, and they took about 2.5 days soaking in water to split.. So anyone who gets any of these testers please keep that in mind.. they will take more patience than most.. Anyways, here's the start of the thread, and here's the 7 seedlings.. As you can see I have found ways to grow large plant numbers in small spaces.. Without a large GH or the outdoors I gotta do what I gots to do.. here they are, i can't wait to be flowering these ![]() |

Looking good bean. A cross I always thought about doing had I ever had the chance to pick up the DC genetics while they were still around. I'll be following this one closely.

thanks guys, bubba, cheese and ecsd are the 3 crosses i look forward to most, but all of them have the potential to be special.
Expect to see a Chunky Cheese thread soon, and a Nepal HP IBL thread.. I jus gotta snap some pics of the seedlings.. You should see alot of peeps growing all of these hybrids and then some soon.

Right on beany! Just popped in here today to see what's going on and I'm quite happy to see that you've taken your elites and put them to very good use. 6 or 7 good uses....haha
I'm also very interested to see how some of these crosses turn out, especially this ecsd and bubba one. I wonder how dramatically the dc will bring down the flowering time and stretch of the ecsd........any guesses on your side. And i remember you saying that you wanted to breed for flavor.....i'm surprised you haven't blasted any urkle or gdp with some c99 maybe or powerhouse even? I prefer the urkes in taste but they're both pretty darn yummy when done right.....Got some urkesxstrawdeez going right now and another cross of it.....Lets hope it increases her vigour! she's so damm slooooooow Sorry, off topic bud. Lookin forward to seein some of your work on the boards bro.....best of luck moz |
