In this very difficult world and business of making seeds, sometimes gifted and talented breeders must make sacrifices and indeed in some cases, for their own safety and security, as well as that of their loved ones, fade off into the sunset.

As many already know, MOD was a very much up and coming breeder, many have grown out his varieties to great satisfaction as well as smoked his creations when visiting the dam and shared in the joy of his wares at SeedBoutique.

I have some good news, and some not so good news. First, the good news is I have been in touch with MOD today and he is doing just fine and after a major relocation doing even better. He sends his best regards to you all! The bad news is that there will be no more MOD seeds, and this comes directly from MOD himself.

SB purchased all seeds from MOD in bulk back last summer and fall, and with the exception of a very few which were left with another entity in Amsterdam, that's all the MOD seeds there will ever be, with SB holding 95% of his stock.

According to MOD, there is no new seed co, he is not involved with any other seed co, and never will be. MOD also stated that he will not be posting online again here at ICM or any other site for that matter, and he has clarified that he has not been posting here or anywhere else; if there has been any posts made anywhere out in cyberworld since Nov 2006, MOD stated to me that they most certainly have not been made by him.

It is MOD's hope that those who have his seeds will continue to grow them, and those who wish to purchase them may do so from his varieties available on Seedbay. SB will continue to offer all MOD's varieties until they have all made their way into the hands of those who wish to grow them. SB still has many freebies made by MOD and will continue to distribute those as well.

As for the MOD forum here on ICM, it will be left in place as a reference, and at MOD's direct request and wishes, be looked after and moderated by oldpink.

All the best to you MOD! Thank you for your contribution to the ever growing growers out there! You will be missed, but your seeds will grow on!

I'm starting to believe what someone said about by the end of 2008 there will be no more seed companies left to buy seeds from, this is the third since I read that, Mdanzig, MOD and Sagarmatha.

I take it that you Dutchgrown can't elaborate on what exactly happend, you don't have to be specific, raid, snitches, heat cams, threats?

Best of luck to MOD. Im sure that his decision was well thought out and he is doing what is best for him. he is a nice guy and was always helpful when i talked to him. I am currently smoking my first harvest of Mod Bx and dreamgoddess. I haven't tried the DG but the Mod has really impressed me! Its a shame i would have liked to talk to you/Mod about the plants especially as you seemed such a straight up guy. But having said that i wouldn't want you or anyone to risk there security.
