Amsterdam trip!! - Women's Forum - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I just found out today that my step daughter and I will be travelling to Amsterdam over 4/20. I am so excited! It'll be her first trip to Europe and my first to the 'dam. As an almost 40 year veteran of smoking weed, I cannot wait to arrive at a place where like minded souls congregate in a city of tolerance!

Most of what I've read so far about the 420 gives me the impression that there will be a lot of young guys around. What's a 50 something mom to do while the kids party? Any other older women planning to make the trip?? It's always nice to hook up with others who not only smoke, but understand menopause, too!!

Cool Birddawg....you will have a great time, there are ppl of all ages there[Ive never been, just my opinion] so I'm sure you will find all kinds of peeps to talk to and hang out with.....many ICMaggers are "old" hehehe, besides you can probably show them younger kids a thing or 2!! hehehe...have fun!!!!

Truthfully, when it comes right down to it - the bottom line is that I am going to be there...and even if I am the ONLY middle aged woman there I WILL have a great time!! Besides, I get to go shopping for friends who grow, and I firmly believe in "try before you buy." I will love making suggestions for their gardens!

Young or old, male or female, rich or poor it dont matter coz we're all IC'ers and once we get together the only thing that matters is our love of cannabis which is more than enough to keep us occupied and very happy.....your gonna have an amazing time and im sure you will fit in perfectly....such a varied buch allows anyone to fit in and feel comfortable.

The average age of people attending the 420 over the last couple of years has always been around 40-50 so there's no need to worry. There's not that many of us young ones as it seems, well not as many that attend anyway.

Age is a state of mind
but we have a mixture of young and older members that attend the 4:20
and age doesn't really come into it when we have a common purpose

Thanks, everyone! I am SO looking forward to this trip!!! And if age is a state of mind, I am still very young but have a lot of experience. TrueCanna, Alex, OP, FarmerJ, I will look forward to meeting you all there! POMH, and Mrs. Babba, I am sorry I will miss you, as I've enjoyed reading your posts. I think this will be an amazing first in a number of ways. Not the least is meeting so many people with one thing in common, and meeting a lot of people that in some ways I feel I already know.

Our flight gets in about 9 am the 17th. Where do you all recommend we head for a wake & bake? Gotta start this trip off right!
