i'm growing one stonehedge outside. she is 160 cm high and i take her inside in these fucking early cold nights we get here in august.

The plant is 3 months old and she has a thick stem and smells spicy.
have taken also two cuttings from the bottom as a little wintergrow.

Hi Sungrower,

Stonehedge outside is finished in mid to end October, depending on the summer. This summer is pretty bad, although you've told me that you are in a slightly sunnier climate that I am.

It is a good idea to take some cuttings for a wintergrow. Please make sure that the cuttings don't have bugs on them when you put them inside. If need be, spray them with neem oil.

Kind regards,
Rosa

Hi Rosa

The Mother-Plant is very strong looking, the stem is approx 2cm thick, the heigt is 150cm. started her end of may.
i was a little scary about the height, because in the description is written "megaholic proportions".

How big can the plant grow outside as an early starter in mid-april?

Which is the best time to plant this giant plant, without reaching a height of over 250cm?

I grow outside on sunny south side terrace and have room for cover and keep them dry.

thanks

sungrower

Hi Sungrower,

Stonehedge is partially sativa, so in the right conditions she can get tall. Right conditions are: plant the seeds early in the year, have a good summer, the right soil, and sufficient water. I've been shown photos by customers who had grown Stonehedge outside, and those plants were about 170 cm tall. However, I don't know how good their summer had been or what the quality of the soil was.

Because Stonehedge is only part sativa, it is very unlikely that it will grow to 250 cm tall. Especially when you grow the plants in pots, because then there isn't as much space for the roots as in the ground.

Kind regards,
Rosa
