Hi micro peaple, i'm thinking of growing under my floor boards, i've got an area 60" x 36" and its 18 deep. i'm guna use 8 x 125wat enviro lites. wats yr thoughts on this? will it work?

18 icnhes tall?
if so.. not enough vertical height.
buy some 4ft fluoro tubes or some t5 units.

cheers trev but i've already order the lites, they'll b here tomos, i've had boards up and made hatchs, guna line it with polystyrene tomos and put fans in.

i'll post som pics as i do it.

k man, now that would be sick, seeing pics of an underground or w/e grow. id say do it, but not so much lights, throw in like 4 and keep the others as replacements. Pics man! PIcs!

ps- major lst and short veg time would be my best recommendation.

If you do put this plan to work .. my advice would be to hang the lights vertically.

4 vertical round the sides and 4 horizontally above ....
LOTS of ventilation its gonna be hot
then I'd scrog ... I love the idea though

Thanx for the support gys, i suppose i've got to go ahead now just to find out if it works, i though u all wud hav said i was craz and wudnt work, coz thats wat i thought. guna post pics tonite of the space before i line it.

Hi guys heres the pics of my progress on my under ground project, as u can c i've taken up the floor boards, removed the centre joist to giv me room, i've lined all 4 sides with 1" thick polystyrene, tomos i'm guna do the electrics, seal the gaps and put the extraction fan in.

if theres still interest i'll post update pics again.

thanx for looking giv me yr opinion and has anyone don this b4? wud like som feed bak on how it went.

it's like a grow.....and radiant floor heating all rolled into one...lol
for real though , if you can make it work ...awesome

are you planting in the dirt down there? or setting pots on top? That'll make a lot of difference in height. . .
