What is the best strain for outdoor grows in ireland? Guess we would have to plant seeds come april or thereabouts..Just curious to see what potentially might work well! Any thoughts or success stories much appreciated. marachuan abú! m |

Howya,
I did surprisingly well with a strain called early girl last year. Grew them indoors for about three weeks or so and left them out in a field at the start of May. Fed them once or twice but mainly left them to their own devices and managed to harvest some nice buds in October. Only had four of them but plan to go for around ten or so this year -- as long as the weather stays good, it should be fine. I've noticed a huge difference in the amount of sun they get on the east coast as opposed to the rains out west... I reckon the further east you live the better for an outdoor grow. good luck. |

I'm going to try my hand at growing some Lowryders in the garden come summer. Fairly sheltered area but with good sun in summer. The gardens big enough that a few small unassuming shrublike plants will go unnoticed, so all's on the up and up.

hey ya
I left a couple of Aurura Indica plants out the back last year they florished while i was away for the month of september. I came back it some lovely frosty buds. Stronger than the indoor clones of the same plant but slightly less yeild as they had to be cut early. Good hardy plant I would recommend also Laters |

I tried Durban from Sensi Seeds, grew well nice buds good mould resistance. But bought Durban form Sensi twice following my first Durban grow and none of the seeds germinated, which pissed me off 55 per pack. Also tried Early Girl from Nirvana but not a great taste from it. Would like to try Durban Poison from nirvan but not sure how smelly they maybe, suppose to be knock out stone. Any one try 'em post results here please, would like to know about smell and finished weight

i have some ak47 that i cracked inside in january and have had em outside since late april. they are in large pots though cause it has been really windy out here this spring and early summer and i've had to bring em inside a few times to stop them getting the shit beaten out of them. they are loving the real sunlight. fantastic growth. ak seems to grow fairly well outside here as this is not my first time with them outside.

I don't have much to add to this thread only a funny story I heard from my oul pair. They had relations from the States over back in the 70s, and one of them threw a load of seeds in our glasshouse. My folks didn't know what the guy was planting, anyway weeks later, after the relations were gone the mighty weed was growing like a bitch in the glass house. Don't know what strain or anything, but just goes to show, when MJ wants to grow, She will!
