keeping light in
how can i stop air from escaping from the intake holes on a rubbermaid?

I designed a light /carbon filter idea a couple of days ago... AHA! Found it... Check it out...
![]() its just a box extending from the fan with 2 screens about 1/2" apart. You fill the gap in between with activated carbon and go to town!

The above poster has a very good idea. Mine was made on the spot and I think it works fine for now.
Build a light-trapping intake. I built mine with a small cardboard box, ducting, and duct tape. All you need to do is make a route that has at least 2 complete 180* turns in it. Light doesn't flow well around corners, but air does. Look at the vary bottom of my box to see my small light trapping intake. Last edited by Budless; 01-29-2007 at 03:42 AM.. |
