Arrow Greetings/intro

Greetings all

I am a small breeder/grower with many many years experiene in Horticulture/Botany

I have grown almost all Semi-Tropical and Mediterranean ornamentals, fruits and vegetable that you could probably name.

I also in one way or another have been involved with our favorite genus for about 20 years.

I useto function in the Santa Barbara mountains growing out some unique Sativas[ late 70s] and Thai Sativas, plus some Afghani Kush that a friend in the military brought back in the mid 70s.

I have worked on alot of breeding experiments and am currenntly trying to isolate and refine some well known strains most know.

I hope to be around more often as I am now disabled and consequently am a Medical Grower.

I always followed the HTC and am hoping to be a part of the scene in a very minor way of course and am excited about the possibilities of breeding and exchanging ideas with like minded, intelligent, serious folk.

LETS HAVE FUN.

HTC will focus on Medical Cannabis seed production first, recreational Cannabis seed production afterwards. If the two happen to swim in the same pool, then, beautiful.

in theory, there is no difference between practice and theory...
In practice, there is..

hello soutwind great to have ya 'round the Temple..

I can't wait to see how the Bubba Chunks (BKxDC) and other DC hybrids and F1s do for you.. I'm sure you'll find some excellent specimens in the mix and look forward to your threads/feedback.

I can't wait to see you applying your formal education to this sacred and beautiful plant, and i hope to learn much along the way.

greets

Hello there OG and BC:

Thank you for the welcome and the opportunity!!

I hope I can bring something to the table and know I will learn alot from you
both .

I am old enough to know that you never know it all and need to stay green and teachable.

If you have arrived at the place where you can learn no more its because you are dead.

been down a few days with kidney stones so may go in hospital .

again!
see you

Arrow good lord

Those leaves and some of the flower structure look like a Brugmansia!

But what is it?

The flowers have such interesting stamens and what are those fruit clusters.

I have to have it!

Does it grow from seed is it temperate, medi, semi-trop?

It looks semi-trop, South African?

Wow, I am a Brugmansia collector, and some Datura's, and this ,well, it cant be B or D, I have seen alot of them and this...

Nope, this is a pumpkin growing up and over a common pokeberry. The pokeweed grows wild everywhere around here! The pumpkin was more than likely from a chucked out Halloween pumpkin from the year before....

Arrow IMPRESSED

THAT GARDEN IS GORGEOUS!!!

Sorry I have not been around but I have been sick with Kidney problems and going to hospital for tests.

Endoscopy and Colonoscopy to see whats going on in there, you DO NOT WANT DETAILS.

Had my colonoscopy today have not eaten in 30 hours and IT HURT SO BAD!!

But hey its better than having cancer which is what they were looking for, they say sometimes cancer will make you form Calcium Oxalate stones more readily which is why the Endo and Colon tests.

So far no cancer, so it looks like I may be around a while yet to bother you all.
