Hey Wally,

Nice to see your having a good time on your trip. I really enjoy the pictures. Glad to see your getting some time away from the daily grid. You take care and thanks for sharing your trip with us. You have a safe trip home.
Take care,
BG

well i am safely back in the bush again , still processing all the things from my holiday and checkin out some pix ...
i loved the markets , they have them all over the place , sometimes seems to be the middle of no where and dozens of stalls of neatly stacked fruit and veges ..

another thing i noticed when i wanted to grab some beef to eat from the market was the no refridgeration ... but i managed to grab a good looking bit that looked like not too many flies had been on ,,, lol ..
i mentioned to him he may want to use a fan to keep the flies off the meat , he loved the idea .. any how with a bit of the right herbs and spices u can pretty well eat anything .. the beef was great ...

Lets leave a big stand of meat out in the open in 85 degree temps with ultra high humidity.

At least you know its either fresh, or nasty. I guess you hit up these meat stands early in the morning. hehe

Beautiful pics wally i especially like the buddas and the temples.

I hope you come for SongKran wally!! It is my favourite holiday in the world!!

The golden buddahs was how the old Thais kept their wealth. Sometimes the Burmese would sack a city and then burn the gold off of the buddahs! Thai's dont care much for the burmese even today!

I am glad you had a great time here....it is easy to do!!

Peace
