Tokin' Took's Micro Cabs (BoggleGum, Sourbubble bx3, Green crack and Hawaiian haze)
Well with the increasing DEA raids at our medical dispensaries here in socal, I figured it was time to go perpetual with my CFL's . I cant afford to wait till I can buy an HPS and new cabs etc.
Ive done 2 other flouro grows with good results, not huge harvest's, but I figured with better planning and a more perpetual set up this time, I should keep the herb commin' in without having to rely on the co-ops and dispensaries so much. The strains are all frm clone, the HH and GC were given from a fellow patient and the Boggle and SB from a good friend from OG. I suck at carpentry (getting better though). The cabs are as follows. Clones/veg Rubbermaid 2 x 18" t8's, one 24" t12, mainly for clones, but I can veg a little bit in there too. Moms are kept bonsai in the top cab and get 3 x 26w cfls. Cooled by PC fan/passive intake. Flowering is in the bottom, under 8 x 26w cfl's, cooled by an electric blower I confinscated from an airhockey table. ![]() The plan: Got 4 strains right now, I will keep, at the max, 3 moms. The Boggle and SB for sure, and maybe an HH, I doubt ill keep the GC around, as such a sativa strain will be pain in these small cabs. They are all in the flower cab right now. The PC fan on the mommy cab took a shit, so they are all chilling in the flower area under 24/0 till I get around to getting a new fan in the mother cab. Also thinking about building a scrog screen for the flower cab, either that or lst/supercrop. The plants have had a few issues with a bad leftover mix, but I think they are straightening out. Feed for veg is 5-1-1 fish turds, with a hit of mollasses.New mix is Kellogs patio plus ( composted forest products, bat guano, composted chicken manure, kelp meal), with added lime and perlite. Go easy on me. Sometimes having a thread just helps push me to get things done.

K+++++ to you
very nice show man,all your plants look great and happy,real nice job,although the green crack looks a lil under fed.thank you for posting pictures of the g-cizzle,ive been beggin for the pictures,for almost a month now.glad to see someone has the clone in their garden.
karma++ to you for fullfilling my wish man.make sure to take plenty of gc pictures for the next time you update.its definately lookin good,keep up the good work,and i hope everything turns out great for ya,peace man and take it easy.(edited) just re-read your post,please man i begg you dont get rid of the g-cizzle,i realize you might have problems with height restriction,and if worst comes to worst i understand,but please dont throw her out,theres always lst,topping or supercropping,or atleast gift it to some grower friends,that will take multiple clones,and will spread it around to keep the genes alive,plz dont throw her out man,plz.

HiKing - Got em at Home Depot. $1.49 ea. Wiring was simple, 2 wires each, in paralell to a heavy duty extension cord.
Dr. Greenthumbs - No im not ditching the GC right away, ill flower this one atleast, just dont know if ill keep a mother around. If I dont, she wont get thrown out, im sure I could find someone to take her Im assuming youve had GC? A nice sativa she is, lotsa resin, great smell.

Ok time for an update.
Everyone is doing fine, aside from the Green Crack, which is still looking way underfed (see pic). Her pH is stable, she just got a transplant, a fresh feeding, and some extra doses of cal/mag/micro nutes. I think she is on the road to recovery. ![]() The Boggle has been doing good with some nice lush green new growth, so what do I do? Cut it off. Time for some clones ![]() ![]() ![]() If all goes well with the GC picking up pace, and the Boggle recovering from her haircut, I may start 12/12 by next week. Will get the GC and SB cloned before hand too.

Hey, would you mind explaining your cloning process?
It looks like you just have 1 cup filled with water, and 1 cup upside down over that with a whole in it for the cutting. Is the cup with water just water or is it a solution? What rooting hormone do you use? How effective is your method of cloning? What's your rate of success? I am looking for a real cheap way to clone, that looks pretty cheap, so I am real interested :-) |
