Greetings!

I am going to my first grow diary here on IC Mag. The strain for this grow diary is Mississippi Mud.

For those of you who are not familiar with this strain:

Mountain Jam F2 X G-13 F2 = Mississippi Mud

I consider myself very lucky to have been GIVEN these seeds by the very kind JLP.

Ok, Since I live in a tropical place, I plan on starting and vegging these plants inside under fluorescent lights, and then placing them outside to flower.

Here are pics of the 2 babies I have, they came through the dirt on January 24.


There is also a runt that I didn't even expect to grow. The seed was cracked, and looked kinda rough, but it germinated so I planted it. As of today it has only got cotyledons and no sign of any other leaves growing. I don't expect it to live...

Hey man, I cant wait to see how these turn out, i got some but going to be a few weeks at least before i have room to start them.
Always Nice to see the plants doing there thing outside in the tropic's too.

mountain jam is sunshine x dj short blueberry if i remember correctly...i got my muds going aswell..im excited to say the least

The Mountain Jam is a Soulshine and Blueberry. Here is a quote from JLP's thread:

"The other half is Mountain Jam F2.I recieved the MJ for a test grow and made F2 from it as well.The original strain was made by The Cannabis Cowboy.It is a cross of a Soulshine female and a select DJ Short Blueberry male.Soulshine is an old clone from Canada,I'm not sure of the genetic makeup.MJ's take from 65-75 days to finish.It's a medium sized plant with a good yeild.The flavor is a nice fruity one.This plant reminds me of Sweet Tooth #3 a little bit.
Anyway,I think this should make a good cross,I just put some into flower today."

I see you are a hydro grower. Nice. I will be putting these plants outside at the end of February.

I am actually hoping one of them will be male so I can pollinate some lower buds of my "Thai" plants.

hey whats up i have some Mississippi Mud too i got from JLP cool guy.I have 5 in veg 2 week old and the under side of all my plants are purple already i wish i had a camera to show you guys it's so nice that i'am hoping for a nice male purple of course to mate with some thing that yields great but doesn't have much bag a peel . hay ThaiPhoon how long does that Thai plant take to flower it nice and fresh it's winter here no outdoor growing till june .
