hashberry pheno's
hey mike i have a question or maybe some of the other experienced hashberry growers might be able to answer it i have 5 hashberry's in 16z cups about 2 weeks from putting into rr (about 10 days from sprout) well im noticing 2 distintice type's one the bottom of the leaves are nice and green the other has deep purple undersides i have 3 with green undersides and 2 with purple undersides anyone else have this temps have been a steady 78-79 with 40% humidity running lights 24/0 i forgot the camera today but will have some pics up tomorrow for sure its kinda interesting to me

Did they grow in the same environment ? Maybe its a deficiency due to your pot size or the temp. Cause this young, i dont know if you can see the differency the phenos already.

yes all grown in same 4'x6'x6' veg chamber i also have 5 nirana blus mystic's , and 4 nirvana special's that i also popped the 2 hashberry's are the only two with purple undersides
temps 78-79 R.H. 38-40% lights 340w of cfl on 24/0 using promix bx 75/25 perlite Last edited by walkabout; 01-28-2007 at 10:46 PM.. |

A few of my hashberry have similar traits, not anywhere near so distinct mind you.
![]() The three Mandala strains I've grown so far have all shown a little colouration on stems or the undersides of leaves in some plants. Doesn't seem detrimental.

not thinking detrimental ,just wondering about dif phenos the other 3 of the hashberry's have green underside like your above

In terms of pheno my HBs have shown very little variation, initially some difference in the way the leaves fall in distance from the stem and there is a very small height difference. There is also some small variations in leaf shape varying from fairly fat to faily thin but never Sativa thin. The thiness of the profile of the leaflet seems to relate to the thichness of the leaf itself, the thinner leaflets have a more delicate overall feel (if that makes any sense) however I await flowering for any distinct leanings.
