Bubblicious Coco
G'day, bout time I started a thread for these (New forum to put it in too
). I aquired 5 seeds from a local fella off these forums busta lynes who was kind enough to help me in my search for a good male I could use to impregnate my white russian. Well I cracked em in paper towels then put em into cups of coco. All of them sprouted but 1 was lagging behind so I gave that up to a friends backyard. Moved the rest into 5ltrs coco pots and did a bit of LST. Lastly as my main cab opened up I got em into 12ltr pots coco with clay ball layer at bottom sitting in drainable tubs, drippers running to each from a 50ltr rez by a small pump. Here I left them on 18/6 for way too long really but I had been out and about too much to look after cuts until now. So at 70days veg I took cuts and then hit the switch for 12/12 and here they are. And the cuts, it is the first time I have cloned into coco but for the same reason I stopped using perlite to mix with the coco I dont like that rockwool doesn't breakdown, so coco it is. I took 5 each of the bubblicious and the 4 on the corners are the white russian. Positive gender ID shouldnt be too long, so far looks like 3 fem 1 male? . After that I'm gonna have deal with some major overgrowth I imagine so fun fun fun. |

Hey twenty47 red-i,
nice to see another coco grow up and running. lets hope the clones get on with it eh? i'm also waiting on roots on some clones, lol. one thing to remember when you take clones from plants you intend to flower, you need to give them a few days to recover after taking clones before you start 12/12, otherwise the main colas will have a tendency to stay a bit short, unless on a real stretchy sativa, when it can be a perfect way to keep their hight down. |

That would be an unintended benefit as I have little headroom left. I will Probably have to lose 2 of em from in there and gonna be some bending and tying going on for sure.
Cheers for stopping in gaiusmarius, I hadnt even thought about the stress of taking the cuttings. Anxious because of the height on em after so long fishing hehe. peace. |

5th day of flo and they are getting huge. Still unsure on sex, 3 have preflowers with pistils and the other is suspect male. Soon.
Feeding manutec hydro veg nute with 1ml/L GT super (PK. rec dose = 5ml/L) twice a day. Will be switching to GT Coco Bloom for day 7. Far left is the suspect male of this unruly bunch Just my pots which sit on about 30mm of clay balls so they don't sit in the runoff. A meshed off space within the clay level lets me get a sump pump in to drain off the excess down to about 3mm. Peace. Last edited by twenty47red-i; 01-30-2007 at 06:41 PM.. Reason: sp |

I grew out some Nirvana Bubblicious about a month ago and have two clones that have about a week or two more to go. I had 2 distinct phenos, an indica and a sativa. The smoke was somewhat sweet and had a very mellow high that lasted a good 2 hours.
Good luck with your grow. GS Bubblicious Here are the current Bubblicious clones

I just killed a Nirvana Bubblicious at 6 weeks cause it threw lots of nanners, very purple, yielded decent for so early. Heres the kicker - she knocked me on my ass at 6 weeks.
Super potent. Damn nanners. He/She knocked up a couple of my babies sitting next to her. I am debating growing them out to see what happens.Anyway, good luck with your grow! |

Hey people, cheers for bringing your own bubblicious stories over to my thread.
Just a sex update. The one who I thought was male has def shown its balls now so its out of there and trimmed back to drop its pollen safely for collection. It has a very nice looking structure to it too so I'm very happy about that. The other three are females and are way to big hehe. My name is bender please insert girder :P Clones are coming along ok too. some of them suffered I think because I took their dome off a bit early but most seem to have started with some growth today. peace. |
