3rd 70w Pc grow: Hindu kush x Skunk1 & Oddysey

This is my 3rd grow, but first time posting on this site. I just found it recently but my previous grow journals are on gardenscure.com/420. I have the same name over there as here.

For those that do not have an account over there I will give an overview on my setup and a few photos of my previous grows.

-I have a 70w HPS e-conolight with a fan blowing directly on the light. There is also a heat sheild installed.
-The walls are painted white. The thin safety blanket mylar wasn't cutting it. If you want mylar and cheap get reflectix, forget safety blankets.
-The small lasko fan is placed the bottom of a box outside of the case. This box is fully sound proofed (lined with 1" foam from walmart) and has a horizontal 12"x12" screen to put a layer of carbon that is just above the fan. Above the carbon is the inlet which is connected to a 4" dryer hose which is connected to the top rear of the pc. All of this is concealed neatly in my closet.

My first 2 grows were successful but still had problems. Problems with heat have now been solved by a heat shield and much better air flow. I previously only used a 120mm fan for air flow, but adding a carbon filter was too much. A bigger and external solution had to be used for the smell and cooling requirements. I also had some issues with lockouts (water quality was bad) which now I'm using RO water. I'm using the FF trio (Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom) and the previous grows I mixed my own fets into the soil (blood meal, bone meal, kelp meal). In both my I had Mg defs which hopefully the FF will prevent and also I had to play the guessing game when it came to the amount of ferts left in the soil. I think I over fed once on the 2nd grow due to this.

The first pic is the case when I got it.

2-4 was my first grow with 1 clone of Mk ultra. She did not smell at all and I had no carbon filter. I got about 15g. Buds were fluffy but good potency.

5-8 was my 2nd grow with 2 clones of Blueberry x Afghani. There was some heat stretch and the buds were a little fluffy. I got 27grams, but the clone on the left got severley stunted (only yielded 7g vs the 20 the right one got). I also had a lot of canopy room left for improvement.

9-10 is my current setup and clones. Hindo kush x Skunk1 is on the left and the Oddysey is on the right.

27" tall, 8" wide, 19" deep

My soil container was custom cut from a bigger plastic bin and then glued back together. The tubes you see are connected to the drainidge holes in the bottom of the pot. It holds about 3 gallons of dirt.

I used 50% perlite, 25% earth worms, 25% non-fertalized soil.

I just added some more carbon to the fan box and so I took a few pictures.

This picture is labeled so you can see how I built my scrubber/silencer. The cardboard portion underneath the screen is lined with 1" foam ($10 walmart for 10') along with the skirt for the exhaust of the fan. I used wire screen door that I bought for $5 at walmart and hot glued it above the foam lining. The carbon is 1"-1.5" and I have more if I need it.

Where it go?

Good eye Jack. My first grow I was only able to get to the plant maybe once a week. Because I had all the nutrients mixed in the soil, all I had to do was add water.

Those ceramic water stakes supplied all the water with a 1 gallon resevoir that I filled up occasionally. It worked well.

They are growing but the stems are turning purple. Also the new growth is fairly light green (I doubt thats a problem though). You can see this in the first pic.

I ph tested the water I fed it with and it was in the range of 6-7 (hard to tell because the test strips I have go from 1-14).

Note the purpling stems
