i just came back to the internet after 6 YEAR (vacation) and i need to collect all of my all time favorite again thanks to our "big brother" stealing my seed collection! my question is.....
WHO HAS THE REAL????STRAINS????

I HAVE NIRVANA WIDOW GOIN NOW AND IT LOOKS GREAT!
BUT?????
I LIKE HAVING THE ORIGINALS...

now the confusion,,,,,,,,
the shanti / arjan / ingemar thing????

when i see green house i remember the pics from the days when widow won the cup and arjan was the guy in all the pics.....
then shanti left and claims the widow is his???
then dutchgrown gets on to say its another guy???

problem is....
i know greenhouse has the "name"and i hear shanti has net credit as well as ingemar????
\when i see pics of widow its the same old pics,

i would like to see some pics of the current widows or real experiences with the seeds of today's widow!
i checked the old strainbase and franco grew it out and rated it very mild????

im really confused,,,, especially since the grow log on strainbase seems very distant from the boastfull greenhouse swagger. rating it at a only a "7" for potency????

the original widow that began my growing experiences was super potent and was smooth choke free smoke,,,, allmost anti expanding!

any one got news on greenhouses current seedstock??? widow???

thats a flagship strain for greenhouse right ! i want to make a decision based on what i see ,,, not hearsay

The best pot around right now is Rez's though, the sour diesel is totally crazy wicked flavor, I've only had the honor of smoking it one time but damn was it the total bomb only pot I ever smoked that tasted like that, I heard that some phenos of the Origional Diesel are more potent though.

Hmmmm Who'd you hear that from? How did they get "some phenos" from a Clone Only? ECSD is ECSD. With none in seed form there were no other phenos to be had. Either you had the ECSD or you didn't. What is this Origional Diesel you speak of or have heard about?

FIREGOD - Why not roll with both GreenHouse WW and Mr Nices BW (new name same strain and that's where Shanti breeds now). The WW is available in 5 packs for 35 bucks from GH and Mr Nice sells the Black Widow for 75 US and comes in a 15 pack. Then You the Unbiased consumer can let us know which is more to what you remember. As far as I can tell the White Widow Web (Ingemars thang) is no longer selling seeds.

Go to seedbay or the resivour seeds forum dude, ECSD is not the same as Sour Diesel, ECSD is the origional Sour Diesel is the Seed strain wich is the ECSD clone bred with the stinkiest Soma NYC Diesel Male to make the Europe version of Sour Diesel, pm Rez if you don't believe me or step in Rez if I got anything wrong. OD is a different stran you'll just have to search for it but there are grows on this site.

What I smoked was probably ECSD but I live in OK so it could be either one, it was sold to me as Sour Diesel, and don't even start a debate over wheather it was authentic or not because it was.

So East Coast Sour Diesel is the Original Diesel you speak of? Or is Original Diesel a different strain? We don't need Rez for this. Tell me clearly what You know. Why should I search? I believe that you believe you smoked Sour Diesel. Are we Ok in OK?

i still got my original pack of dsd v2 that i cant wait to try out!
the seeds look a little funky but still are hard and havent turned white or anything but they look wierd,,,, various sizes in the same pack. mixed shapes also ????
i bought these a couple years ago off gypsy for $30 .

and as far as the greenhouse goes.... im thinking about goin with shanti's version,,,, we talked years ago on the other boards and i believe him but after coming back to the net after a long hiatus i read some things that dutchgrown said that made me secondguess???

i figured id give gh a chance to "put-up" so to speak! i dont know if i will be wasting time money and space on a breeder that cant show current results tho,,,, even as a test,,,, i dont have the money to waste ,,,,

i had the originals from the mid nineties .... but the cops confiscated my entire collection !!!!!!!!!!!! even then they were not really homogenous,,,, but you had a few in each pack that were trich champs !!!

im growing nirvana widow now and it looks like the widow from years ago so far! in an ols thread from shanti he said he remembered mau buying a few packs then the next year nirvana was offering widow???
i hear controversy over that as well but i do not see skunk #1 in these at all!
looks like real deal???
i just like getting the originals tho???
who knows i might allready have ' em???

Do a little searching around the site and you should be able to make an informed decision about where to buy your seeds...(original White Widow genetics)

Whatever you do be sure to ignore the above post....This guy showed up with the Greenhouse forum as their little mascot....All of his post are either about aliens at the airport,defending the Greenhouse or little 1 liners like "nice pics"...(you know just something to spread himself around a little...)

He's really easy to see through...Funny how the fella knows Ingamar sold these genetics to the Greenhouse Sounds like inside knowledge...

FYI,I do not think any of Ingamars stuff is even availible anymore...Seeds Direct(now Seed Boutique) used to carry his whole line of stuff(White Widow Web) but I think they are no more...Not positive though....

THATS WHY i am hear in the first place,,,
i want to get to know the new gh and see how it stacks up to its rep!
the ingemar thing got me wondering especially with dutchgrown making the same statement.....
but as i read on it seems the people arent getting what they expected?

since this forum here is greenhouse "support" i would like to see some pics of greenhouses current offerings from their own grows,,,, not one 10 years old and maybe seeing how they had a great reputation for winning cups,,, i wanted to hear peoples "actual" experiences...

ive gotten several pm's but nothing conclusive....
i just figured hearing all the bs out there id give gh the opportunity to sell me some seeds??? just trying to hear or see it for myself to make my own decision un-biased ....

i could just buy them but i know with the mass of great growers and breeders here i might have gotten a definate "show" of hands or plants but i feel like a kid nockin on the door of a candy store and the owner has the door locked!

i mean even if its not that great i expected gh to stand up and say arjan style "look at these beautiful plants,,, sucha fine specimen of the cannabis ,,, verry special breeding,,,, look at the resin trichomes so beautiful
