Okay, I'm going to try this again. After a couple of aborted attempts to grow this season, I'm going to get at least ONE grow before the temperature gets too hot to grow.

So, here's the setup:

1 Waterfarm
3 Chronic from Serious Seeds grown from seed, started in peat pellets
400W HPS air-cooled hood
265 CFM fan
C13 cabinet
Added airstone to Waterfarm
Hygrozyme
Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro Grow 3-1.5-4

I am not sure how long ago I started the seeds; probably 3-4 weeks ago. They were started under two 27W CFL's in peat pellets in a humidity dome. Once the roots started poking through the peat pellets, I put them in one Waterfarm running 5 milliliters/ 1 teaspoon per 4 litres/1 gallon of tap water, pH adjusted down to 5 or 6 pH.

Once the seedlings grew, I added 5 milliliters/ 1 teaspoon per 4 litres/1 gallon of FoxFarm's Grow Big 6-4-4 for *Soil* to tap water and Hygrozyme, again with a pH in low 5's, adjusted with pH Down.

The past week, the plants started showing a Magnesium and/or a Clacium deficiency which scared the crap out of me.

So, today I switched the water to tap water with 5 milliliters/ 1 teaspoon per 4 litres/1 gallon of Hygrozyme and 15 milliliters/ 3 teaspoons per 4 litres/ 1 gallon of Pure Blend Pro Grow 3-1.5-4 from Botanicare.

The plants showed their sex today: 1 male and 2 females. Yay!

I pulled the male and one of the smaller of the females.

hi krusty! I grew a female seeds grapefruit last jan. and used the water farm for a first time and results were far exceeded 7.3 ozs.400w hps gh nute lucas style....good luck.........

Oh yeah, the PPM was 650-670 once I added the nutes and Hygrozyme. I'll check the water in a couple of days to see how the plants are eating and adjust accordingly.

what s your Humidity level in the cab. reason i ask is i grew out Chronic a while back , in veg they showed similar symptoms to yours untill i turned off the circulating fan which allowed the humidity levels to rise around the leaves . seemed to be pretty touchy to wind . hope you get them back on track ..........

Humidity is 35-40%.

Should I FIM her before I put on the SCROG, or should I not FIM her and put the SCROG on now?

My SCROG is going to be 1.3 square meters/ 3.8 square feet for one plant, btw.

Start training them for scrog during the next few days, they look big enough for a 3.8 ft^2 scrog. You should also FIM the tallest tops so that the lower tops can catch up; this way you can have a nice, thick, and even canopy.

Well, as you can see from the pictures below, the SCROG is 40-50% full with about 8 budsites available for 1.3 square meters/ 3.8 square feet.

It's still in veg. Should I flip it to 12/12 yet?

Okay, the screen is at least 75% filled, now.

There are at least 15 budsites at or above the screen!

Changed the water in the WF today and measured the water coming out: 165 PPM. The old girl is really sucking up those nutes!

When should I stop training the budsites to spread out and just let them grow up?
