Back on it
Hi guys, long time no see. I sincerely hope everyone is well and enjoying their respective grows.
MM its good to be back after suck a long break. I've been toying with some afghan x Hindu Kush plants in the same room I grew the Kali in. Only reason is becasue they are nice and short and I fancied a less height-worrying grow until I can get my big set up going after my final exam tomorrow. I'm going for a 12x5 gallon indoor dwc with 2000 watts of air cooled hps. It will be a fully modular grow so I can expand if I wish. Harry Gypsna - Looking good there bro, can't wait to see the results. Those Kalis will probably astound you more than you can think. As MM said once - they grow with bottle rockets strapped to their asses! Jessee and Milo xxx - You are going to Love the Kali - I can't remember having a better grow. Here's a copy of my smoke report: I can personaly vouch for Kalichakras excellent bag appeal! Heavy on the trichs, a gorgeous color, and the smell? MMMM MMMM!, like a summers day, melons and grapefruits came through for me, with some wicked refresher tangyness.! The high is frankly exceptional. Great day time smoke, very uplifting and fruity. although if you light up 1 too many you'd better be looking for the nearest sofa, with full munchie access! The sativa pheno is, in my opinion what you should be looking for. You will drop yield by going for this pheno, but the smoke is out of this world. Technique - you still around dude? Can't wait to get strapped in and see some rocking grows here again! TGB - Still hitting it? Resinryder - Hope you haven't quit growing those meds yet and your bong is still in your warm, green hands! Delta9 - THC - Aguamooooooooooosa Anyone I missed out - My humble apologies!!! Blackfin - How could I forget! Humble apologies!!!! Last exam tomorrow ppl, then I'm getting back on it for real. Going to be seriously tempted by Kalichakras because I'm going to have the space to really let Tarzan swing!! SM

Cheers MM! I'm going to do an attic grow so I am a little worried about weight of 12 5 gallon buckets on the roof. (and the water!!) It does have wooden beams and I will be putting a thick floor down. Any ideas on other styles which may suit and attic with a small access apart from modular buckets?
SM Edit - I have a 6ftx6ftx6ft space in my basement which is ideal for sealing off. Think I'm going to grow there instead. Its at my house so I can post pictures easier, and I'll feel alot more in control. Plus I get a 1/1 share in the bud as opposed to a 1/3 share in a bigger grow. I'm thinking 1 600/1000hps. It means I can do a dwc grow which I am alot happier with aswell. What do you think guys? SM

RR - Sorry to hear about your pain man! I can't imagine what you are going through, just make sure there are plenty of people and things giving you support and you'll pull though. If I can help in any way let me know.
MM - I was going to do a joint venture with the attic grow, but this space is in my own basement, and I'm going to go it alone. 1x1000w hps on a 6ft mover to cover the 4x6 growing room leaving a 2x6 area for control and equiptment. I'm going to scrog or sog. Possibly Kalichakra, I'm seriously tempted to see what it can really do when given the space. There is no heating as such down there, but cellar is bizarrely double glazed and both boilers for both flats are also in there. If heating becomes a problem at night, I will just buy a small space heater, but I doubt it will be. SM

Satori, Speed Queen initially (mid flower now) and Hashberry is vegging (alongside some F2 A11), I'm impressed and want to give certainly the Satori and maybe the Speed Queen another run (depending on the final smoke). I only got two girls from ten of the Satori one very Sativa in bud structure with a delicious sandalwood with a hint of sour fruit smell the other heavy and phat, a great yielder with a much sweeter almost citrus aroma. Both have qualities I like a lot and both stay very reasonable in stretch. The Speed Queen are all supa sweet, three rough types from ten, one with very nice flower structure and another that looks exactly like a indo-pak hash plant, the third is nice and resiny but only hmm. They all stretched a bit for Indi looking plants but it could have been me. I'll reserve total judgement to they finish their run.
I bought some Hashberry whilstthe others were vegging and got a pack of those started and they look OK in veg too. I'm probably going to pick up the rest of the range at some point, the Kali definately look interesting and they will stay controllable in my low feed dirt SOG. Can't really resist!
