Talking 2kw Lavander Purple Maxx Trial

Here we go on another coco run this time we are growing out some lavander. From what I have seen these genetics are great flavor super up high energetic creative purple smoke with a decent yield in under 60 days flower thats the plan here.

Last run I used for the first time some bushmaster and was very impressed, stopped vert growth and cut flower time down by a couple weeks with great yield. So because I can only grow a limited number of plants I have to veg about a month so any cut in flower time is a big bonus.

I took cuts off the mother that was gifted to me before i flowered her this is the story of those 12 cuts...

Should be a cool run plan on trying this new product called purple maxx from what I have heard it turns this strain dark purple and really kicks up trich and resin production.

Transplants...

Lol I know its not coco but I took my rapid rooter plugs and transplanted them into a popular soiless substrate called "light warrior" good stuff acts like coco-perlite which is what these will get transplanted into...

Veg nutes so far have been foxfarm grow big with a little floralicous grow very light dosages.

Here they are 2 days later, I see 2 of em lagging but they are catching up and at least by the time we flower they will be cool last time i only ran 10 plants so maybe I can cut my veg even more.

nice, lavender is a good smoke as far as i remember. should do you proud, specially in coco

hey T.doT.Toker, coco isn't cheap when you compare the price directly. but when you consider, that you can reuse coco for an easy 3 or 4 harvests and that you can get away with much smaller pots of coco as a medium then you'd need earth for comparable results. so all in all the price is not more then a good quality earth mix. in fact the earth with all additives might well be more expensive then the coco would be for the same amount of space.

UPDATE!!!

I know its been a while but veg time is so uneventfull, I tortured them pinching and topping to make them all multiheaded beasts I have some with a few as 7 huge stalks to some that have 15 just to see how she likes to grow, this will help me optimize my yield.

Well they are all ~ 16" tall very level headed lol...

I transplanted them into #5 (~4gal) pots of the same bcuzz coco I used my last run about 2 weeks ago, just flushed it and have been using good amount of an sensizyme.

I have been stripping all the lower vegetave growth making them look like bare naked ladies lol but I hate popcorn buds and I want a flat canopy of huge purple buds.

I added a nifty fan speed controller that has a thermostat and multispeeds was for cieling fans but just wired it inline with my lights cooling and now my fan only runs when the temps get high yay the room is getting nicer.

I have more plans for the room
Seal completely and run co2
Add an a/c unit
I am trying to decide another 1kw or maybe just a 600digi Can get them both for about the same and I am really thinking of switching the whole grow to 5 600w in cool tubes. Heat management would be very easy with something like that summer temps are comming and I need to be planning ahead.

Ill try and add some pics asap they look great

User Name thanks for the kind words! I am so excited but I allready ran out of meds from my last run so the urge to flower is bad but they need another week of veg to yield what I want.

jimjay stay posted I am just vegging longer for big multiheaded bushes so I can put 4 plants under each light stay within my local limits and get enough yield to keep me medicated until next harvest. then gonna build a pre veg box so I can cut it down to 2mos cycles.

gaiusmarius this lavander I have smoked the end product of and it was such quality medicine very creative energetic flavorfull strong stone that looks insane hope mine turns out as nice or better

T.doT.Toker Yes you can use coco outdoors either in pots or in the ground, CoCo is so easy to use.
