Hello,
@BACKCOUNTRY: Yes, 6th of November. The immature buds are hard to use because of the tiny seeds and excess of leaves but taste good. The purple half-thumbs are strong. I threw away 5 % due to mold, some in the last weeks before harvest and some while curing. The late start had the advantage that I did not need to prune and tie up the plants. I should have added sand to the soil and should not have rammed a pole into the ground in order to raise the staminate Haze growing in a pot above the Shiva Shantis. You can read my full report here. Strain/Breeder: Biddy Early/Magnus Genetics
Harvest time: 3rd wk in Sept. Latitude of grow: 41 degrees Location:NE USA Average yield: medium Mold?: slight Potentcy:8.5 good 50/50 mix of head/body high. Too strong for daytime, good for movie viewing @ night. Not a couchlock, but strong. Year of grow:'06 Grown organically, guerilla style Always surprised this hasn't been grown out more w/ it's pedagree. These were F2's. Some obvious runts, and overall I wasn't impressed w/ growth/structure, in fact started up another strain for back up. The end result made up for all my doubts. Smoke was top notch. I got the orange pheno, real deal orange taste w/ slight skunkiness. Intoxicating smell and taste.

Strain/Breeder: Purple Peace / Green Ambassador
Harvest time: end of sept. Latitude of grow: 41 degrees Location:NE USA Average yield:above average Mold?: slight Potentcy:8.5 mostly sativa head-high w/ some body Year of grow:'05 grown organically, guerilla style My favorite outdoor strain so far. Killed me that I lost it. Vigorous growth, did extremely well in my area, Just a touch of mold, while my Sour Diesel and Deep Warp got hammered w/ mold. Great smell and taste. We dubbed it "Muffin", as it smelled and tasted like a blueberry muffin! Roll a J and be content just dry toking it, yum!

Strain/Breeder: Swiss Miss/Nirvana
Harvest time: Sept. 20- 25 Latitude of grow: 44N Location: Midwest Average yield: Medium/Average Yield- your mileage may vary. I never put any on a scale! Mold?: None Potentcy: Had a purple pheno that smoked very well, and usually I am not a fan of the purples!! 7.5 out of 10. Much better than expected. Year of grow: 2006 Planted near a pond in full sun. These plants were clones of a few mother plants that were put out much earlier in the year (they were immediately consumed by deer). The clones were put out in early to mid July, and ended about 3- 4' in height. Handled a few nights down to 25F or so without flinching! |

Strain/Breeder: Early Misty/Nirvana
Harvest time: October 2 Latitude of grow: 46N Location: west USA Average yield: 3-4 oz., transplanted as scrawnyass plants in early july ![]() Mold?: no, not usually a problem here though. Potency: 7.5-8 Year of grow: 2005, 2006 had to harvest early, some could go another week or 2. still plenty good by october though. nice hardy plants, sturdy branches, heavy buds, large calyxes, good trichome production, good taste. worthy of recommendation, will grow again.
