I have my cabinet grow going right now(link in sig) and i saw Red Greenery's rubbermaid grow so i had to try it. I have a limited amount of space due to the rubbermaids being stacked, i'll give you a link if you've never seen it.

i have everything i need but haven't yet put it together (i plan on using this thread as a grow diary when it gets started). I just had a few questions about white satin, which is what i have chosen for my closet grow.

Your website says Medium height, due to it being a indica/sativa mix. since i only have a limited about of space to grow upwards i was thinking of topping them at 1.5 week veg and taking them to about 2.5-3 weeks veg then flip to 12/12. i would like to know from people who have grown what the potential stretch is like. I'm trying to get the max amount of colas in the top of the tub but certainly don't want them growing into the lights after 50% stretch
i plan on using 2 8" pots planting 2 seeds, hopefully getting at least 1 female. SCRoG style.

does 2.5-3 weeks veg sound fine? or should i start sooner?

I haven't grown white satin but using scrog in rubbermaids.....u should let them veg until at least 70% of ur screen is full. That is, generally speaking, a good rule of thumb for rubbermaids.

ok, i plan on going by his specs for my first grow in there just till i get everything dialed in. I test fit everything together and i saw that the 3 socket vanity comes apart so i can mount the sockets to the roof horizontally to give myself another 5-6 inches of vertical space.

i'm planting 2 seeds given the 50-50 ratio. i might get one male one fem, in which case the male's gotta go. or i get 2 fems and i just flower em both

Or you get two males and wish you planted more

True, due to limited space, however, that's all i can plant. and i don't know anyone who grows and i could trust to take an extra female off my hands....so...it's gotta be done with 2
