Here are direct descriptions from "tug" in 2002 of the genetics of these lines.

The DS9 is a pure indica F1 hybrid (Indian Indica x Afghan). Rubber Chicken
posted a couple shots of DS9 seedlings in the "man gives thanks to tug"
thread. The DS9 is my version of the old "skunk buds" that some folks
remember going around in California back in the late70's-early80's (very
skunky). The Indian is from Humboldt County and the Afghan is from
Mendocino County. Sorry, i don't think i have any pics of the F1's for you,
but the parental lines are both on the board between the california state
flower thread and the indian budshots thread. The tarantula is this F1
backcrossed to the Afghan ((Indian x Afghan) x Afghan).

heres a few of the DS9 (DeepSkunk9) indian x Ghani F1, I ran these last summer. Made F2's.. the majority was seized in the raid, but I had a few in a nother spot..
Think I passed some on to CBF aswell, but cant remember exactly..
Ill dig out some other pics of her...

I also did a DC x DS9 combo, Ill post them later aswell..

Loving the color. It sucks seeing what could have been in my garden in the next few years

. But it's great to see lots of your work was stashed away so all these lines were not lost

. If I wasn't such a tard I would have bought more stock as soon as I saw how your genes were superior to everything else I ever grew!

I love the look of the DS9, it looks like it's got all sorts of 'ghani goodness in her, and you gotta love the indian lines aswell.

Look forward to seeing these back for sure.

In a thread awhile back Tom Hill posted that to look for the skunky buds is to search for bud that came from Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan.

When I was hittin the search button A many times for findin strains like the RKS, I remembered your Deep Skunk 9 pics from a few months ago. I was wondering when you were going to bring this one bcak around. When will this be available? How can one get DS9 seeds? Those pics look truly awesome!
