Tiger's Den 3 - TRC Sweet 13 and PlanB Brain Warp
Welcome to the grow thread folks!
For those interested, the build out thread is here. A quick recap, for those just tuning in, we've got two 4x4 pods next to each other. 1 kw light in one pod, with the second pod being used currently as a nursery with a 4 foot fluro fixture. When the tax return comes in (already filed), we'll be adding an additional 1kw light and a 400w MH for vegging. I'm not sure in what configuration I'll be adding them, and we may add more. I have the materials and space two add two more pods, so what I may very well do is have 3 1kw flowering pods, and a 400w veg. Like I said, not quite decided yet, but at the minimum, by the end of the month we'll have 2000w flowering and 400w veg. Now, on to the line up. The first to see flower will be my karmic gift - Sweet13. These are the genes from my last grow, which were lost due to my forced move. However, at harvest, I let one of my trimmers take the remains of the best plant to try to reveg. Well, he called last night saying he couldn't flower it, did I have room? The lineage is Sweettooth #3 and TRC's Double Indica, thought to be a G-13, hence the 13 in the name. However, when the lineage couldn't be completely confirmed, it was just called Double Indica. Either way, I'm extremely impressed with these genes, and can't wait to give them a try under better conditions. I think we'll all be impressed ![]() Number two is a pack of PlanB's Brain Warp, that I received before TRC and PlanB parted ways. No lineage was provided, but are a result of my pestering Vegas to introduce a Sativa line. He promised me some "tiger killing" sativas. These are supposed to be highly sativa dominant hybrids that should finish in about 8 weeks. We'll find out together! Now, on with the pics! Into the cups we go! Notice my high tech seed handling device makes another appearance I still haven't found a better way to drop popped seeds.Under the flouro's they go! And here's my girl! The new supply shelf, all ready to go! It rocks to be able to have all your supplies and running water in the grow area. Notice the red giant syringe? I found that little gem at Wally World for $3, and it rocks for anyone using liquid nutes or additives. It's a Flavor injector with an extremely long wide bore needle, and incremental mL markings up to 30mL. No more messes and conversions! The seedlings were watered in with a neem solution, as was the Swt13 lady. The Swt13 girl also received a thorough spraying with neem as well. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! So, we're off and running! As soon as I'm sure the Swt13 girl is clean and healthy, we'll take some clones off of her and get 'em into flower. Or, we may just take one clone and as soon as she has roots, flower out the mom, as she's a bit bigger than I'm looking for in a mom. Until next time,

Yea a mishap caused me to loose my Sweet 13 seeds. I loved the Texas Hammer and still have the Klingon Adventure and BlueSugarberry beans.

Lemme get your opinions on something guys. I'm only planning on running 3-6 plants in flower at a time, and was thinking I'd run a perpetual using both pods, harvesting every 30 days. However, that concerns me with the potential of building up more bud than I could possibly need.
I'm thinking of instead of using the second pod as a second flowering room, using it as a veg pod and putting a 1kw MH in there. That'd give me the space and ability to veg larger plants than the 400w MH veg cab I had in mind. I've also considered adding a MH alongside the HPS in the flower pod, as I've heard that that provides some added benefits. Thoughts?
