What kind of trainwreck in your Casey Jones?

Hello there heads

I was wondering what kind/pheno of trainwreck you crossed with the sour diesel to get casy jones, and any comments on how you came across it, or where it came from would be cool too. I got a pack on the way and I would like to understand a little more.

Can't wait to try them out!
I have yet to grow a CJ in my garden of serveral years, hopefully there is a keeper, but I have to warn your going up against some top notch mothers! I have little doubt I won't find a keeper though!

surely you read the description before you purchased it, yea?...

Description: from Seedbay
Driving that Train(wreck) through Thailand with a sour Diesel engine, Casey Jones is the progeny of My Oriental Express mother (trainwreck x thai by billygoat seeds) crossed with the ECSD v3 papas, and is a polyhybrid certain to delight the mind and palate of sativa lovers. There is a bit of phenotypical variation with this cross, varying from fruity sativa dominance to a more dieselish aroma and growth. Look for these lovely ladies to finish up in 8 to 10 weeks.
who is billygoat?... A friend from OG that gifted H3ad mutiple packs about 3 years ago aka GoldDustWomen on IC - until he is back in business...

Of course I did! But I honestly have not grown any trainwreck...the few areas that sell the clones are either out... or have crazy prices for them, when I know they are not of the highest quality, which is a shame. Must be the area or something. I have read many things on it, and as of late I have been intrigued.

Ahh, this explains a lot to me. I was not a member very long before OG got shut down... maybe a month or so? So I did not get to reading all the forums. At this time I was searching multiple sites trying to decide on one to stick too so it is a shame I missed out on some goat seeds.

Excellent links!!! Those are some pretty nice plants, I wouldn't mind having those in my garden!

I can't wait to try them out, thanks for all the info on them!

Oh yea one more thing. I saw this strain takes 7-8 weeks. Is it beneficial to let them go say to 65? How long do you let them go? 7-8 just seems a tad short to me... but as I said i am new with the strain...

My Ear's where on Fire, so i searched the threads. The Trainwreck i used in the cross is the same cut from our old Friend Dr. Jay. God rest his soul. It is the Arcata Train Wreck cut. Here is a link to the day i started a thread. Once i was gifted the cut. You can follow the growth and crossing of the seeds i made also. You will also see Dr.Jay and many other great members with all their own info on the strain and others. You will find some nice pictures, but since the account was deleted. The beginning of the thread is missing some pics. Dig through the thread and if you have any questions. Either post them here or pm me. Good luck with the Casey Jones. Been nothing but great things from the super nice cross. I'm sure your going to be very happy with the work the Head's did with that one.
Take care,
BG

I just read in Rez forum you were doing a TW bx. I recently bought some woodhorse TW's and was wondering if you knew of their work what your opinion of it is and if you have any recomendations. I look forward to trying yours as well. Also any news on sugaree re-stock at SB?
