so heres my first grow. 2x 26w cfls and a 20w on the side. all reflective mylar. constant temps of 76-80. this seedling is 5 days old and looking strong. 2x 80mm pc fans one intake and one exhausting up top. if you niticed i put one of the fans(intake) near the plant.the soil is 2 yr old compost from my own pile with all the goodies.

hows she looking for 5 days? stunted or no? i figured that maybe the compost might be alittle much for the baby.

I actually planted both my seeds in compost about the same age and one looked about the same after 5 days, the other took off runnin. could be plant specific I think. just the different growth rates and whatnot

thanks for the responces, i took notice that there are already another set of leaves popping from the middle. is that a good sign when the second set are coming in so soon?

Are the cotyledons yellowing?

a little small for 5 days, but she looks healthy!

they are yellowing abit. just at the ends mostly, what does this mean? bad sign?

re: cotyledons yellowing - nope. They should fall off soon, totally normal.

well there not really "yellow" i should say, there just lighter green.

and another question i have is, the guy i obtained the seed from claimed he had grown out some mexican bagseed and had gotten a really potent pheno that was ready in less that 60 days, he then took his best bubblegum male and crossed it to see what he would get, it looks more indica to me but i was curious if you can tell indica from sativa this early on. the true leaves look roundish and stumpy making me think that its more indica. what ya'll think?
