Hi Mauie, yes, fluros and stretching go hand in hand. I have found that keeping plant tops one or two inches below the tubes, slows the stretching somewhat. To gain more control of your vertical growth, try training. Tying the tops down allows, even light distribution, a level canopy, better light access to lower growth areas, and faster growth of axial regions. If you would like more information regarding methods of training, please ask, and I will write up a tutorial on this process.

the plant CANT be lifted ...

the plants are growing in 2' tall PVC pipes with open bottoms. 6 tubes are standing on a gravel base inside a large plastic storage container. they are filled with soil and the plants are growing in a very small footprint.

if i try to lift one the soil will fall out. im gonna have to try to lift them though ... i just got some new seeds and want to start them also.

STILL ... any suggestions?

I am no expert but I have the yo yos on the tek light. It allows me to angle it to compensate for different height. That will cover a few inches and has in the past let different girls catch up. But I am old fashioned either container or bag guy so I can move stuff. Bigger to the outside, smaller to the middle. I have chunks of 2x6 that I use to raise.
I cant picture your setup but all I can say is I have seen a lot of dudes get into a spot like that and after a smoke and some thought, they figured out a way to make it work.
Keep checking your reponses. Some of the folks on this board have given me solutions I never would have dreamed up on my own.
Can you post a picture of your setup?
Good luck and it sounds like a solvable problem.

I think you missed the call PHANTOM. The grow should be over by now, concidering that the thread is three and a half years old.
