Another Speaker Box Grow?
So I pretty much pushed myself into growing. I have an uncanny urge to use ingenuity to build things and that's when I work best.
So I compiled the following: >Oldern speaker box for home audio(seen in picture) >Plastic chain for robots (from old robotics club) >wood scraps from garage, a few old lamps, extension chords, etc. >$15 worth of bulbs from Home of teh Depot Seeds were just collected from random dank bags of herb I've gotten. Don't worry I'm not some silly wee lad claiming it's dank when it's dro. Will add pictures as soon as I figure out how check back in a few. Both sprouted on Jesus Day Closeup of Marla Mad tracking system made of plastic chain? And all closed up Last edited by bud_me; 01-08-2007 at 08:48 AM.. |

yeah I know I need to seperate them, it was the only container I had at the time and I went the cheapass approach, the only thing is I'm now worried I'll be cutting roots if I seperate them, will it not shock the plants if I do it now? and if you look in that vent hole there's a computer fan blowing warm air out, the bottom of the handicap sign is propped about 2cm out at the bottom for cold air to come in, I need vents in the back though, agreed.

thats a nice little set-up and I must thank you bc you just gave me a great idea for a clone box and I got a shit ton of music equipement, so I am about to cut-up one of my old speaker boxes right after this to make a cloning box. My only suggestion would be to try using a 150W HPS light, there is a whole forum on this site dedicated to using 150W's, its like a religion to them. Post this over there and get their input, I think they may have some good ideas for ya. I really like that second pic with the magnifying lens, cool looking shot. good luck with the grow. peace_highst

thanks DJ, one thing I'd suggest to you that I didn't get the chance to do is when you're disassembling the speaker box, try to keep the fronts (that black facade or what have you) it would be an excellent cover as opposed to my sweet handicap sign. I'll definately go hit up the 150W HPS section and post up some pics, thanks for the suggestions.

Have you considered adding some ventilation and stink protection like a carbon scrubber? Looking healthy!

it seems that you are going for stealth, so im curious to your plans for odor control in the future? |
