mutagenx's Organic 4 Level Speaker Cabinet
I clone, vegitate, flower, dry, and keep mothers in this cabinet. This produces all the smoke we need, and then some. I built it out of laminated particle wood, and aftermarket guitar amp replacement parts. I pimped it out with carbon scrubbers, cool-tubes, bubble cloner, and bonsai mothers (I currently have 10 different mothers) via all of the useful DiY tutes on forums such as IC Mag I'll post a diagram to explain the basic layout. It's been up and running for over 2 years now. It uses less electricity than a computer, and all its peripherals.I moved the rest of the equipment and instruments for the second pic. It's no louder than an air purifier, it's sound-proofed, and HEAVY! |

Now that is something very cool, inspiring even. Care to share some product produced in the cab?

Thanks, Merman, I just keep the mothers in small pots (4" until they get rootbound). The mother/veg level temps are between 82 and 88 degrees farenheit, and this aids in their stunted growth. I trim about 1" off of the root mass every 3-4 months, and they go through a nice 6 week growth spurt (perfect time to replicate!) The 10 mothers are: SSH (Mr. Nice) C99 (Female Seeds) Sweet Tooth 1.1 (Spice of Life) MK Ultra (TH Seeds 2 phenotypes) Sensi Skunk (Sensi Seeds) Blueberry (DP) AK47 (Serious Seeds) Hindu Kush (Sensi Seeds) C99 x Sweet Tooth 1.1 (personal) |

wow, where do i start!
i love the design. So this is pretty silent huh? do you run some noisemaking device (fan, air purifier, ionizer, etc) in the room to cover up the small sound of the cab? How'd you manage to keep all your fans (especially your big fan) so quiet?? Did you build this from scratch or did you have this huge thing sitting around? I love your collection of mothers! so nice that you can just choose whatever you feel like each run. pretty much I want to thieve your amazing cab and all your mothers..............I mean that as more of a compliment than a threat

irishSoCo, I built this bitch to spec. from scratch. I planned it for about 2 months. I know a good bit about ventilation. I do use an air purifier to cover the slight low hum coming from the box, but you don't even hear it in the next room. I've had people lean up against it (to my horror), and not have a CLUE! I used Dow foil-covered styrofoam to line the insides with, and hold up the shelves which "float" in these. The Dow sheets are 3/4" thick with foil on both sides. I also used soundproofing acoustic wedges to surround the fan. The laminated particle board acts as great sound deadener. I caulked every nook and cranny. The outside covering is a cloth-backed vinyl that is used to cover guitar amps, and PA speakers called tolex.
