Ok so i came up on some purlpe shack beans , and now its grow time! I am growing under a 400 hps in a box 4x4X20" I will be using Fox farm ocean forest mixed with a organic soil they have in the local shop. I have had success with it in the past. I will mix 50/50 soil with perilite and a little diolomite lime. This is my first grow with any good seeds, the other grows i have done were with some bag seeds(not a good strain) so i am really looking foward to seeing those big fat colas! Anyways i am realitvily new at growing so i will doccument my grow step by step, Any and all info is appreciated. I get my camera later today so i will post some pictures later today or tomorrow. Right on all gotta go put some seeds in water!

right on g/l on the sugar shack growing like i said in the pm i believe the purple was a tag duder placed on it because anything purple in the name sells better lol. pluss sugar shack dose throw purple stems colored leaves and buds you gonna like it my up north friend got this grow tagged

So i took some pics of what i got going on> I put 3 seeds in water to soak overnight and i planted two. I also Planted one from another strain that i got from a buddy up here? We will see what happens

P.S. i fed my last batch with molassis for the last two week, It really gave the nugs a really sweet smell havent smoked them yet but can hardly wait!

Alright its about time to get started. I looked at the seeds im greminating and Yeah two have cracked. I am going to put them into dirt tonight hopefully i will have some little ladies in a few days. The seeds i put in dirt havent poped up yet but i figure tomorrow or the next day i hope.

How long do you let the roots poke out of the shell before you put em into the dirt? Mine are only half a inch or so, I put em in the dirty root straight down.

Hey Maj i was thinking about running all the seedlings for 24 hrs a day for 5 days after sprouting to givem a good start. What do you think will it hurt them?

congrats on the sprout , when the beans where given to me 30 was planted 22 sprouted 19 survived, 1 was mutant from the start. the mutant went outside then dog laid on it leaving me 18 of the 22 that sprouted. all 18 where female guess good grow conditations pay off lol. of them 10 went into the cab 1 bent over to much so was removed and became a mother plant for 6 months. the other 7 where placed outside in very early june but temps where in 90's by then and all died. of the 10 placed in the cab under a screen i kept the 22 best lookn cuts for clones, 10 rooted. 1 of them 10 took 6 wks and is my 1st bonsai mum 1 of 2 sugar shack bonsai mum's i have to take cuttings from weekly.


24 hrs a day shouldnt hurt them, i personally give them 18 on 6 off from sprout to flower, i find the night time to give a nice strong rootmass.
you'll find some ppl prefer 24 hrs day some like myself 18 hrs day lighting for veg. trust me once ive transplanted up the 1st time my plants grow crazy fast i'll raise the cfl lighting 2-3 inchs each day. this is to keep lighting 3 inchs above plants tops, Mr N can tell ya he's amased every time he comes over lol. but again congrats on the sugar shack sprouts heres a good read so you can choose a good mother plant of the shack and not loose the genitics.
