hashish prices around the world.....

hi everyone im not looking to buy or sell any hashish just curious about the amount you pay for hashish in your corner of the world, i have surfed on several sites and forums around the web finding very little information on this topic theres the willie wortels coffeshop (?) wich has prices and pics of different types and there used to be a different drug prices around the world site wich is very outdated now other than that i havent had much luck finding out about it.

i would suggest everyone who whishes to post here to add the following info so we all learn about this topic on the most accurate way.

- location in the world
- price per gram and multigram (100, 250, 1 kg) in dollars or euros
- date it was bought or sold
- type of hashish (water, butoil, isoil, charas, pressed, unpressed, jelly, budder, rosin...)
- its quality, this is very subjective so rate it from 1 being low to 10 being excellent, and add your appreciations on taste, texture, smell unburnt and burnt, color, effect if you wish.
- pics

in mexico city the current price depending on who sells it goes from 4.62 - 9.25 dollars per gram, 2314 - 2777 dollars per kilo, this is for jelly wich i would rate 8-9 but keep in mind that hashish isnt that common here in mexico so i havent had the chance to try different varieties, the taste is piney-fruity the smell is strong once the ball is opened but doesnt smell at all like butane the color is black from the outside and once opened is dark brown and the effect is a clean energetic high.

for dark butoil the price goes from 9.25 to 18.5 dollars per gram this was maybe 4 months ago this is couchlocking and depending on the dose even narcotic, doesnt smell at all of butane.

for pressed resin glands the price goes from 2.31 to 4.62 per gram to 1851 - 2314 dollars per kilo. id rate it a 8-9 also since it looked clean enough (light blonde) once uncrumbled the taste is fresh and citric this was around 6 months ago and it is kinda harder to get and doesnt have a strong odor such as the jelly.

in general it isnt common at all in mexico id say its popularity is growing but the supply is still very limited it took me a while to find a reliable source and i was very lucky, over here people will rather smoke a joint of bad weed than a pipe of good hashish (!!!), by the way the weed is excellent and cheap in mexico but the good stuff gets exported and rarely makes it to the local market this happens because it costs much more on the usa. i would be grateful if someone could instruct me about how to post the pics i have in my gallery they weight too much and i dont want to slow down everyones connection......

thanks and keep up smoking!

interesting link andreas thanks but the mexico bit isnt accurate at all for instance it says: "All imported from the usa every month trucks loaded of the best quality weed of usa arrive to mexico df" it looks as if written by an underage.

i guess most people in this forum make it for personal comsumption, do not sell what they make, get it as a gift, find what somebody lost, havent they travelled around, or may think im a leo fishing so no one knows about this topic.

heres what i found hash related in that link u posted andreas:

Nepal, Katmandu: Royal nepalese finger and temple balls are most common brands of hash in nepal lots of hash is grown in nepal and exported to many countries it is common to read in the local newspapers that 200 or 300 kilos of hash were busted almost every two months. quality is very good usual hash price is 700 nepali rupees(=$10) for 1 tola (11 grams).

Morocco, Tagazoute: $1-2 a gram. More expensive than the Rif as the dealers have to bribe the police to get their shipments down from the mountains (as they will be keen to tell you). Most of what is available down in the south of morocco is cheap, faily low quality hash. It is frequently adulterated with henna and it's thereofre worth pressing your dealer for some of the better stuff that he ineviitably keeps and smokes himself. At worst, you are going to buy a lump of hash that British smokers will be familiar with as "soapbar". At best, there's some nice stuff down here, though not usually of the quality you find in the Rif mountains

Morocco, Rif: Much of the hash farming is controlled by a loose, unofficial mafia. The smuggling is all controlled by this "mafia" (who are largely based around Ketama) and by local military/law enforcement. The Rif is very dry and this weather tends to mean farmers harvest their plants before they are fully ripe (before they die of drought). There is little irrigation and much irresponsible use of chemical fertiliser. The best hash produced in Morocco is produced high-up in remote villages in the Rif, where there is more moisture and, unfortunately, no road. Typically around 15dirham a gram (a little over $1, a liitle under £1 per gram) for hash ; kif is very much cheaper, maybe 2dh a gram. Very good quality hash may be more expensive but bear in mind that the locals would pay, maybe 6dh a gram for the best stuff. Cheaper, of course, if you buy in quantity. Many dealers will offer to make you "caramelos" which are pre-wrapped lozenges weighing 3-5g, prepared for smuggling (by swallowing). Beware poorly wrapped caramelos and dealers who might cut a deal with the cops to arrest you at the border (when you're far from Chefchaoen). I don't recommend buying caramelos (tends to be lower quality stufff anyway) or smuggling: it's not worth the risk.
Kif - poor quality ground marijuana mixed with 'tabac sauvage' [illegally cultivated tobacco]. Smoked in long thin pipes. The locals prefer to smoke kif. The tobabcco is stronger than the weed, it's fair to say. Not to most westerners' tastes.

Bog-standard hash - plenty of it. Tends to be pale sandy colour. In dealers' houses you will see football sized bricks of this stuff. Tends to be poorly, roughly pressed and have a dry gritty texture. You will need to re-press it. Is better than English soapbar/flat press, but not much. Moderately strong, cheap, dirty.

'Zero-zero' 'sputnik' etc The Moroccans have picked up a glossary of nicknames for their hash. These mean nothing but are meant to denote higher quality stuff. Sometimes, if you insist politely (or have an on-going relationship with a dealer) they will actually come up with something special along these lines. This can be some of the best quality hash in the world, or it can be just a bit fresher than the bog-standard hash. As with all good hash, it should press and cohere easily from the raw \"pollen\", forming sticky resin with only a little pressure and body-heat. If you need spit or steam or warmth from a tea cup to get the pollen to cohere, it's not the best stuff. As hash, it should snap fairly easily, with a clean break and should bend with a degree of plasticity. It should bubble violently at the merest touch of a flame.

Amsterdam quality - a small quantity of hash is produced by specialists (the Hashdoctor, Rifman etc) who are usually visitors from Northern Europe. They work with locals at producing very high quality, organic hash for export to Amsterdam. You wont find any street dealers in Chefchaoen selling this stuff but if you're adventurous and lucky, you might find something of this quality up in the hills. Will be expensive but this is probably the strongest "old world" hash around (the Nederhasj/Isolator stuff in Holland is, of course, stronger).

Spain, Barcelona: Also worthwhile, Moroccan golden double-zero hashish. Cost: $10-$25 US per gram.

Spain, Canary Islands: Quality hash cost 6€/g and was pretty good a-level product from Marocco. Maroccan hashes are everywhere, quality ranges from the poorest I've seen to very good 0-0 quality.

Switzerland, Zurich: approx. 7 grams of top quality Hash 40 USD.

Germany, Berlin: hash is priced between 6 and 8 Euro ($7 and $9).

Netherlands, Amsterdam: Hashish Prices:

average price per gram, broadcasted by National Dutch VARA Radio by Koos Zwart updated 22/06/06

Royal (Morocco 0-0+) 10$(8 euro)
Temple Balls (Nepal) 10$ (8 euro)
Ketama (Morocco 0-0) 9$ (7 euro)
Kashmir (India) 9$ (7 euro)
Super Polm (Morocco) 9$ (7 euro)
Manali (India) 8$ (6.5 euro)
Polm (Morocco) 8$ (6.5 euro)
Yellow (Lebanon) 7.5$ (6 euro)
Red (Lebanon) 7.5$ (6 euro)
Afghani 6$ (5 euro)

the best quality hash down here that is light in color when u upen it up with a fragrant fruity smell... goes for like $200 a kilo here in pakistan. supply is never the issue but since the past few years the dealers have realized how much value good hash is so they only save goodstuff for people that overpay or someone that buys from them on a regular basis
