anyone grown the garderns choice mix??

i have the gardners choice mix....wodnering what kind of results any ones had? has any one gotten a matanuska strain? or peak 19?? what are my chanceS??/

ont he back the description reads: "hand picked assortment of sagamarthas top strains" or something like that.....does that mean they chose the cheaper strains considering i paid about 30$ for the pack?>? or is it all random....i mean do they really put the matanuskas, bubble/blue berries, or peak 19's or slyders in there??/

Hi Crunks,

We really do put the Matanuska Tundra, Blueberry Bud, Bubbleberry, Peak 19, Slyder and all the others in the Gardener's Choice.
Here is the way we make the mix: we take a handful of those varieties that we have many seeds of, regardless of the price of those seeds. Then we add some of those seeds that we don't have a lot of. We mix the bag carefully, and then we make the Gardener's Choice packs.
The composition of the Gardener's Choice varies every time, depending on which seeds are available.
Why is it so cheap, when it contains expensive seeds?
We like to be able to offer cheap seeds, so that everyone can grow. This mix is a good way to get to know Sagarmatha Seeds without spending a lot of money. When you grow the Gardener's Choice, you'll see a variety of strains. Even though you might not be able to identify every strain, the plants will give you a good impression of what Sagarmatha can deliver. And you can discover all this without spending a lot of money.

By the way, when the plants are finished, you can compare them to the photos on the Sagarmatha website. If you are not sure which ones you have, please e-mail me a photo of the plant, as close to harvest as you can get. We can usually identify them for you.

All good reasons to offer a cheap mixed pack!

Enjoy,
Rosa
