is this type of leaf normal?
first im relativly new here i have been lurking around for the better part of 6 months, this seems like a really nice place and the people seem to be really helpful, and nice. so hi all
ok ive been vegging this master kush clone for about 2 weeks now in a DWC system. as you can see the plant itself is healthy (so it seems) as well as the root structure. well my question is this ALL the leaves look like this... only 3 pedals per leaf? is this normal? should i be worried? well i ask this because my roomate is growing the same thing and it has 5 pedals per leaf, and all three clones were bought from the same club. kinda weird but it all seems heathy so im not trippin just wondering if anyone out there has a opinon or an answer.......... heres alittle plant ive been workin on... one month into flower. I have never had a plant produce only three leaves past the second internode from seed. I say from seed because, during a re-veg project i recently did on a nirvana white widow, for almost three months after the switch to 18-6 I was only getting three leaves. I dont think that is to unordinary. So now, the big question, is this clone from a flowering plant. If so it could be the same thing. If not perhaps it is a similiar issue with stress and hormones. I personally think the plant looks fat and happy, give it another few weeks, as long as it grows go with it, right? After all they are only fan leaves! Good luck and hope I helped.

The longer it vegs, the more likely you will begin to see the 5 fingered leaves begin to grow, what you are seeing is not uncommon.

last night when i got home from work i noticed at the tops there were 5 fingerd leaves starting, as i said im not too worried but thanks for the reply guys.
to answer the question about where the clone came from, i really dont know past the club i got it at. there is one club in my area (that i know of) that provides clones for their patients. they seem to get a good varity now and then. but what kinda frustrates me is the owner of the shop never seems to know what the story on the clones are. he isnt very insightful nor is he very helpful he just knows the names of them and thats about the extent of his knowlege. so i dont really know if it was taken from a flowering female. but no worries thats why i joined this site.
