Flo? or Flo?

Well, I'm not sure this is the most appropriate forum to ask this question... and get an unbiased answer... but i will give it a go anyways

I am intent on buying flo

I recently found a place that still has a few packs of Dj Short's "Flo" leftover

the problem is that they are 130$.. and i have never dealt with this seller. I hear only good things, even here at the competitor forums..

The other problem ...is that if they are the last remaining packs... so who knows how old they are..

My question is this..

Should i just grab the Dutch Passion FLo from Seedbay instead?

i can almost guarentee that they will arrive, plus i'm guessing its from more recent stock... and only half the price!

The only thing is i dont want somthing completeley diferent from DJ Shorts version. I am looking for that "unique high" that the Flo supposably has..

Have any of you ever grown out both versions? If its very simliar i will go dutch passion, but if its a totaly diferent plant... i will take the risk

thanks for any help

theres only one answer to this question. you can turn up some nice plants from dutch passion but they arent the same as dj's anymore, and there is still a probability of old stock from dp. although if i were buying into dp blue stock i would be looking for the older seeds and not the more recent rebred stock.

Id say jingles is pretty much right on. Although you could find something as good as DJ's in DP's stock, it is not as likely. Also, I would guess that the DP packs are probably just as old as DJ's because they are wholesalers, which means there stock gets shipped to the seedbanks and sits around for months, even years. DP's versions of DJ's strains are watered down IMO and not bred with the same ideal in mind as DJ's. To each his own though, heck out elevator man's pics of his flo from DP, they are fantastic. Best of luck

Well I haven't grown DJ's version, and I've only grown out one pack of DP's, so I can't really be biased either way yet, but I can assure you that I am flying right now on my last few buds of the purple blackcurrant pheno - it's incredible, really.

All my phenos have been superb and more than meet my standards for high (and I'm a total snob in that regard) - the yield's not outstanding on the purple phenos, but the green one is great, and it has a very rich incensy apple-jam kind of fragrance. Plus I got 10/10 germination, with all seeds split in 12 hours soaking. Check my gallery - it's practically a Temple to Flo - pun intended!

I plan to buy some of DJ's soon (if I can find them), but I've been so skint for the last year (I made myself a pledge to never sell anything - even to best friends) that I just can't afford any more seeds at the moment - apart from some Blueberry that I have to try! But from what I have read and absorbed over the last couple of years, I do believe the DP version is the same, just from a smaller selection. I doubt it will have been changed from the original. If DJ's version is better than this, then it must be genuinely rapturous...

I believe that you can get a higher probability of finding a DJ type finished product in just one DJ pack...but then again...they are all bred by DJ up to f5 and 6 anyway...it's all mostly DJ...but you may have 15% more pheno security if you go with official DJ.
