cannabutter tincture?
im going to be making some very strong cannabutter.. i have quite a bit of trim a good amount of popcorn buds , my question is.. i have some left over bacardi 151 tincture that im pretty sure im not going to be drinking... (not a big fan of the taste) just out of curiousity can i add the tincture to the butter and boil off the booze? will the thc bond to the fat once the alchohol is boiled off? making for a very potent mix.... what do you guys think?

I'm thinking that might work. boiling temp of alcohol is 78.5 C.
If this temp will not degrade the THC then I can see that it could alow you to increase potency. I know that THC vaporizes around 186 C. so get a candy themometer to make sure you are not heating the mix too much. let us know if it works.

I think its a good idea to re-use the 151 tincture, but I would find a different recipe to add it too, it would be bummer if it didn't turn right and you lost all the canna-butter on top of the tincture that you didnt like. I dont think enough of the 151 would cook off to mask the taste and you would have a really funky mix, that wouldn't taste that good. good luck. peace_highst

any recipes you can think of that might make this work.... i have about 1/4 of a bottle left and i know im not going to drink it.... your right though... i would hate to lose all that cannabutter..... hmmm... any other bright ideas???

ok ok so i think i have figured out a better plan.... i need to find a good way to reduce the rum, down so that it makes like a ball of hash.... then put the ball of hash into the brownie batter... if i leave out the 151 will it evaporate? sort of like iso hash but with rum..???

dry out our solvent the 151 and scrape it up idea #1
#2 you could put the tinture in the thing you will be making butter in but before you put the butter in let some of the alcohol SIMMER LIGHTLY so its alot smaller add table spoons of water maybe 2 i might just use one table spoon of water adding water seems to make more of a hash then something stuck to a pan but i would at least simer sum off man its pretty easy bro i think you can handle it just dont inhanle much of that alcohol tinture then little spoon of water then butter then you might have something how much tinture are we talking about here bud |
