Hello. Im new, i like sharing.
Flower Room 22" Deep x 26" Wide x 36" Height 250W HPS w/ Remote Ballast, Batwing Reflector w/Pyrex Dish on Fishing Line Digital Thermometer & Humidity RadioShack Dayton 140CFM Squirell Cage Blower 58 qt Res, 13"H x 18"W x 13"D, Milwakuee PPM Monitor Seedling Stage - Soaked in Tap water for 24Hrs, Cracked soil in 48hrs total time 4 Female Seeds Northen Lights Grown under 2- 42w Fluorex 65Kelvin Color Temp 4400 Lumens Seedling room - 13"W x 22"D x 23"H Initial Plan was Soil grow under BOG Method. (search BushyOldGrower + fsbookco in google) Struggled with them for 21days. Stagnant growth halted. Leaves turned yellow and curled. I trimmed the dead plant material. Inserted Martha Stewart Kmart soil in 20oz cups into this batch of lovely hydroponic perfection. 11Gal Tap Water @ 140PPM 3.5tsp/gal GH Micro, Grow, Bloom 1 tsp Epsom Salt ,(1/4tsp/3gal) 10 ounces of Hydrogen Peroxide. Been in DWC for One Full Day & Night. Its on its second night. PPM around 600 after topping off with 2Quarts of pH Adj. Distilled Water. pH adjusted to 5.5 w/ GH pH Down concentrate - 1/2tsp total Two - 2800cc/min Air Pumps w/ 4 - 10" Air Stones Floating Aquarium Tempurature @ 74F Having trouble with temperatures 85-96F Highs with lights ON . Dry climate @ 27% relative humidity. The clearance between Pyrex glass shield and top of res is 10" Vertical Analysis 9" Lamp 3" From Bottonm of Pyrex 13" Res Height =27" -36" = 11" Touching the Pyrex glass. Maybe my ventilation is wrong. Too much ventilation Box Dimensional Volume 40"W x 22"D x 36"H 3.5ftx2ftx3ft = 21 Cu. Ft. (.056 cu. meter) 140CFM / 21 = 6.66 box exchanges/minute Blower on Timer - 15minON/15OFF - 24hrs Optimal Height of Lamp on a 250W is 8" according to theGhost. Great Medical Cab. Great work. My Cab is shit i need to redo all over. Bad planning. But learned a lot. Mos def need to clean it up like your cab. Light & Air tight. Im planning of building the frame out of 2x2. Then maybe MDF or Pine 4x8 to finish it nice and neat. DYI is mos rewarding. Maybe when i redesing this cab with a better Lamp Heat management, I also can yield 5-7oz of Kind Bud. The temp are ridicul. How can you Mister Ghost such good temps with inline 90mm computer fans. Compared to a Dayton? Interesting... sometimes the best equipment is just not suitable for the task at hand. Peace... by the way this is my first grow. Pictures will be up soon. |

a little confused, why use the soil in a hydro tub? i just dont see that working very well. im using mini rockwool cubes in 3.5" net cups and the plants love it. that or hydroton, lava rocks seems like a better option. rinse the roots very well before transplanting though.

Yarrrr, matey! If those cups are still filled with soil, you'll want to get that out ASAP. Here are a couple of relevant links on the topic:

1 - get the soil out of there
2 - what is that pyrex dish doing, probably more harm than good 3 - cooltube your light to fix temp problems 3a - what is your intake setup? 4 - if you want 7oz, 8oz, .94g/w or whatever, you need co2 good start and i like where you are going. as you said you need to rebuild the cab. to maximize yields in a small space like that you should look into growing single colas (alot of them). i think your goal can easily be achieve with the proper path. |
