How vigorous is your C99 F5?

Wally, I'm interested in trying your C99's. I've had the original and it beat out every top strain I had going at the time. Since then the F2's have not been the same. Most are lankier and don't pack as much bud on. Others I have are not vigorous at all.

Are yours vigorous?

Also, Soul never mentioned any type of Pineapple or Grapefruit pheno when he was around. C99 was a cubed plant, and most were very uniform. I concur since I grew out dozens. When did this supposedly new pheno appear on the scene?

Also, any chance on some sales at Seedbay? Prices for your seeds are getting pretty pricey.

I haven't tried the original so I can't compare it sorry, just one of Wallyducks F5s and three of the feminised GN Collection ones (one of which turned into what might be the so-called grapefruit pheno). But i got the pineapple pheno first up from the GN collection and that's what first made me fall for this strain, and which prompted me to try Wallys F5s seeing as he'd stabilised for pineapple

That's the thing I found interesting ... in the Big Book Of Buds there's a page for C99 just as all the other strains have a page each, but then beside it is an extra page - a short story about how he found it, cubed it etc ... but he never one mentioned the word pineapple!!! *scratches head* ... so was Princess a pineapple or not!?

>>>>>>>>>>>>....perhaps those flavours werent as distinctive with earlier generations , but i found them increasingly present in later generations , particularly when parents were selected for that trait ... the pineapple smell is quite noticeable ..

youd have to talk to the guys at seedbay about the prices ,, im afraid i dont have much to do with the retail side .. im not sure how much of the cindy is left , there was a limited supply and i have not replenished it ...

MrSoul put the lime in the coconut and shook it all up...

"Cubing a Clone", MrSoul's "Cube" theory...

There are a few Pineapple tropical scent references when discussing the breeding project development of the C99 by MrSoul.

Thanks I.M I think this says it all: ""Princess is a female which resulted from a seed found in a Jack Herer bud I bought in Amsterdam near the Sensi Seed Bank at "Coffeeshop Sensi Smile". The bud came in a 2 gr. cello-pack with the Sensi logo; I expected sinsemilla, but it had about 10 seeds so I assume she's an F2 JH. Her characteristics were so fine I wanted to create seeds that would "replicate" this plant. She has the KILLER Haze-influenced high with the most DELICIOUS pineapple /evil scent, 50 day maturation in 12/12, and incredible resin production, doesn't stretch - yet clearly Sativa-dominant! Last but not least: Never a hint of hermaphrodism after 2 years of cloning & many different styles of grow."

Smells like sweet pineapple.

I for one know that the grapefruit phenotype of C99 came straight from a pack of C99 from brothers grimm...
I don't know if Mr.soul ever mentioned the phenotype or not, but I do know it was in there...
I have also smoked the pineappleish pheno, grown from the original seeds Both excellent plants with a very intense high... Though the pineapple pheno is a bit racier to me...

Is'nt Reef selling a line of Cindy f5 grapefuit pheno? He supposedly got a grapefuit pheno and selected for grapfruit flavor up to f5 and sold as some sort of IBL. I personally prefer Wallys own as he offers a great deal for his Cindy f5. Reefs own is kinda expensive.

I am currently growing both Wally's C99 (f5) and Reef's C99 (f4). The differences are clear between the two version in veg. But the similarities are now becoming more evident in flowering (2 weeks).

Wally's C99 are very consistant and looks very sativa-like with small fine lady finger leaves with little stretch in flowering indoors. In contrast, Reef's C99 has more variation in phenotype. I have seen both versions in Reef's C99-- one phenotype similar to Wally's sativa like girl and Reef's grapefruit pheno.

And I have got to tell you, both are Extremely Beautiful! I am saving back cuts from both breeders and wait to till these girls finish to be able to acurately assess the two breeders work objectively. This sure is getting fun!

Excellent work Wally for your C99. The consistancy amoung females and Males is great. Quite uniform and plants grown from seed look like they were grown from clones!
